We’re Erika and Michael, the husband-and-wife team behind This Love of Yours Photography. Based in Portland and happily traveling for love, we photograph weddings in a soft, romantic, slightly whimsical style. We live for pretty portraits, real laughs, and all the in-between moments that feel like you. We’re hybrid photographers, shooting both digital and film, and offer optional film packages for couples who love that dreamy, nostalgic look in their images.

We bring a calm, reassuring presence to your wedding day, which helps even camera-shy couples relax and just be themselves. Our couples tend to be people who care about authentic, romantic images. Soft glances, small laughs, and real connection. With a background in film photography, we work intentionally and a bit slower, paying attention to light, composition, and the tiny details that make your images feel timeless. We’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, so you can trust that while you’re fully in the moment, we’re quietly making sure it’s all being beautifully documented.

    So talented! 100% recommend

    We worked with Erika/This Love of Yours for our wedding this past November. My husband and I wanted to work with a photographer whose style was light, airy, slightly romantic, and timeless. I was so glad to have found Erika, as she not only captured the exact style we were looking for, but her expertise and skill level are evident in the sophisticated techniques and artistic nuances woven throughout her work. My wedding morning was slightly hectic and required a lot of coordination since my ceremony and reception were at two different locations. However, Erika was up for the challenge and captured the day beautifully, even working tirelessly through the rain. We got our photos back in a month, and each one was edited perfectly. She even made additional touches to a family photo that my sister was unable to be in. The photos turned out better than we ever imagined, and my husband and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Erika for our special day!

    Loved our wedding photos

    We were so happy with the services provided by This Love of Yours Photography for our wedding day. From the start, Erika was responsive, helpful and really listened to our priorities for the photography. Her communication style put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of, Erika worked seamlessly with our family and friends to capture all the moments we wanted, and she was incredibly patient even during the busier moments. The quality of her work was fantastic - the photos have beautiful lighting and a wonderful artistic style, and we felt we received great value for the reasonable pricing. We would absolutely hire This Love of Yours Photography again, and are thrilled with all the services they provided for our special day.

We estimate taking 75-100 images per hour. So, during an 8 hour day, you should expect to receive around 600-800 images.
Your images are fully edited in our signature soft, romantic style, with a final round of careful retouching. Your full gallery will be ready in about 6–8 weeks.
Yes. You’ll receive a mix of color and black and white, with most images in color. Some photographs are intentionally edited only in black and white for artistic reasons. If you especially love black and white imagery, let us know and we’ll keep that in mind.
Choose the collection that fits your day, and we’ll send over a personalized agreement. A signed agreement and 40 percent retainer secures your date
We’ve been photographing weddings together for over 10 years. We’re deeply in sync and work seamlessly as a team
We’re hybrid photographers. We shoot digitally on our professional Canon cameras and also offer medium format film on our Contax 645 for couples who love that dreamy, nostalgic look. Film coverage can be added to any collection
