I've worked with Cindy many many times while photographing weddings (especially queer weddings 🌈✨) and every time the evenings go absolutely amazing. We had the pleasure of having our wedding Officiant Cindy and she truly exceeded all our expectations. From the very first meeting, it was evident that she was dedicated to making our day special. She paid close attention to every detail about our relationship, reflecting our journey together beautifully in her words. Her warmth and sincerity created a lovely atmosphere, and we felt incredibly supported throughout the entire process. Our families also had nothing but positive things to say about her; they appreciated her professionalism and the personal touch she brought to the ceremony. Cindy + team were amazing for our wedding! As a queer couple, we loved having a planner that didn't make assumptions about which traditions we would be following vs. subverting. In addition, it was very comforting to have a planner who automatically paid attention to details like gender neutral signs on bathrooms without us needing to come up with the idea ourselves. Cindy is extremely organized and kept us on track through a steady (but not overwhelming) stream of emails and planning meetings. We were free to focus on the areas of the wedding we cared most about, while the parts where we had fewer opinions were taken care of for us. We did a large amount of DIY decor and felt extremely supported through that process. Also, Cindy's vendor recommendations were not only very high quality, but focused on queer-owned local businesses that we could feel good about supporting. Finally, I want to call out one very special moment that illustrates how Aisle Less Travelled goes above and beyond. On the morning of the wedding, while we were getting ready, I had the idea to do a visual gag during my vows where at the right moment, my vows "unfurl" to a ridiculous length. Cindy's associate Maddy, who was there with us and has a background in theater, immediately jumped into action and made the prop for me. It worked perfectly, and created the perfect moment of levity that I was looking for during the ceremony!
