    Our wedding with Amanda

    Amanda was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She went above and beyond in every possible way to make our day feel completely seamless and so special. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she flawlessly communicated with all of our vendors behind the scenes and handled so many of the logistics that we never had to worry about. When our original ice cream vendor fell through at the last minute, Amanda jumped in and helped us secure a new vendor without us having to stress about it. She was incredibly organized, communicative, and proactive throughout the entire process, and we always felt like everything was in the best possible hands. But what meant the most to us was how intentional she was about making sure we actually enjoyed our wedding day. Throughout the day, she would remind us to slow down, take everything in, and be present. That simple reminder was one of the most helpful things anyone could have done for us, and it truly allowed us to appreciate all of the little moments and make memories that we will cherish forever. She also executed our design vision perfectly and brought all of the little details together exactly as we had imagined. We genuinely could not have asked for a better coordinator. Amanda made the entire process easier, the wedding day more beautiful, and the experience so much more enjoyable. We are going to miss working with her so much and would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding!

    Organized, Warm, and Made Our Day Feel Like Us

    We hired Amanda Day to plan our wedding at The Griffin House, and looking back on the whole process, we're so glad we did. From the moment we booked her (about seven months out), she had us on a shared spreadsheet, walking us through venue tours, florist and catering options, hair/makeup vendors, transportation, dance floor options, and a detailed day-of timeline. Nothing felt left to chance. What stood out most was how well she executed on our personal touches. When we wanted a custom t-shirt toss instead of a bouquet toss and a tribute to our cat Koda into the reception, she made it happen without missing a beat, coordinating with our DJ on both. She also worked closely with the ASL interpreter our friend had arranged so that ceremony logistics were seamless for everyone. On top of that, she tracked every vendor payment (florals, catering, cake, shuttle, her own fee) so we always knew exactly where we stood financially, and she even let us ship last-minute DIY items straight to her house when we were down to the wire. On the wedding day itself, everything came together beautifully: the tent layout, the string lights, the seating chart, the timing of toasts and dances. If you want a planner who's organized, responsive, and clearly cares about making your day feel like your day, Amanda Day is who you want in your corner.

    Amanda is the ULTIMATE wedding best friend!

    Amanda Day Events made planning our wedding feel effortless from start to finish. Amanda's relaxed and friendly approach put us at ease immediately, and she was always quick to answer questions or talk through ideas with us. What really impressed us was her attention to detail and the way she kept everything running like clockwork on the actual day. Beyond her professional skills, Amanda is genuinely kind-hearted and won over every family member who got to chat with her during our celebration. She anticipated our needs while keeping everything on schedule, which meant we could actually enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics. We can't recommend Amanda Day Events highly enough to any couple planning their wedding.

    Couldn’t have done it without her!

    I feel extremely lucky Amanda was available to be our wedding coordinator. I honestly dreaded all of the planning and details. I’m just more of a minimalist and wanted to focus on the emotion of the day and not get caught up in the minutiae of it all and Amanda completely understood and helped me curate a simple yet elegant wedding celebration that matched our vibe. I loved working with Amanda and always looked forward to our calls. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and she was always such a positive influence. She really helped reduce the stress leading up to the wedding. And the day of the wedding- my goodness she was extraordinary. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I even forgot table numbers and Amanda sorted it all out the day of the wedding and it was a non-issue. Everything was so seamless thanks to her. She coordinated with all of our vendors and helped keep everything on schedule while also maintaining a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. If you find yourself on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator do yourself the biggest favor and hire Amanda. She will help you put together your dream wedding and help you keep your sanity at the same time.

    The MVP of Our Wedding – Amanda Was Incredible!

    Hiring Amanda as our wedding coordinator was hands down one of the best decisions we made. She went above and beyond in every single way to make sure our day was perfect, not just the big things, but the tiny, behind-the-scenes details that no one else would’ve thought to handle. She picked up donuts for our dessert table, personally handled vendor issues like retrieving new glasses from another source when our original ones were out of stock, and even collected all our floral vessels so our florist could avoid an extra trip (and fee). She truly cared about making the day smooth for everyone, not just us. Amanda thought of everything down to the smallest details. She let us ship items directly to her house to cut down on our load, hand-filled bags of petals for our ceremony toss, tested our projector and home videos at her own home to make sure the setup would go off without a hitch, and met with me as often as I needed just to help ease my anxiety during planning. Her calm, steady presence was honestly one of the most reassuring parts of the entire process. As a very Type A person, I usually struggle to hand off control but with Amanda, I never had a single doubt. That’s how organized, prepared, and thoughtful she was. I truly felt like I could relax, knowing she had everything under control. We cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who is not only extremely professional but also deeply caring, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in your day, she’s the one. You will not regret it.
