At Amethyst Event Productions, we provide heartfelt and modern wedding planning for couples creating their own traditions. Our events are produced with the intention that each and every affair we’re involved with is authentic, stylish, and fun. Allow me to use my creativity and decade long-experience in the industry to guide you to your big day. We're here to do all the heavy lifting so you can relax and just enjoy the process (with a great drink in hand!

Over ten years ago, I started working in hospitality, learning the ins-and-outs of providing a high level of service while simultaneously learning the art of working in overdrive. My events background has helped me become the hyper-organized, creative, responsive, and stay-cool-under-pressure girl that I am today. I am a firm believer that our work should fuel our passions and creativity which is why I love weddings. I get to create meaningful events that bring my clients’ personalities out through inspired and intentional design. Your wedding should be heartfelt and fun, because who doesn’t love a good party?!

This package handles all aspects of planning after the venue selection which allows us to walk you through the bulk of the wedding planning process so you can hand off the majority of the heavy lifting! We can scale back this package slightly if you prefer smaller vendor sourcing responsibilities on our end or add to it if you want a slightly more robust package.

While this is our most hands-off package we want to ensure you feel taken care of every step of the way. We'll ensure you stay on track by assigning wedding planning tasks each month and stay in communication throughout the planning process. Rest assured knowing you have someone in your corner from the time of booking!

    12/10 Experience

    My husband and I had the BEST experience working with Jessica at Amethyst Event Productions. Jessica is warm and friendly, and direct at the same time. She will make all of your wedding dreams come to life and also help you stay in budget/give you the reality check that we sometimes need. Jessica made us feel so supported and comfortable throughout the planning process. Not 1 detail was missed. Working with her gave us the ability to really sit back and enjoy this special time. I would absolutely work with Jessica again, and would recommend her a thousand times over!

    15/10 Experience with AEP

    Jessica & her team at AEP are absolutely phenomenal. Three words to describe her working style are: meticulous, calm, and approachable - a perfect trio. My fiance and I felt she went above and beyond throughout the entire wedding process. She didn't leave any stone unturned, provided honest feedback during decision-making processes, and kept our vision at the forefront from beginning to end. Hiring a planning team is one of the most critical & impactful pieces of the wedding process, and choosing Jessica & the AEP team is a no-brainer - best decision we made!

    Can’t say thank you enough!

    Stop what you’re doing and hire Jessica for your wedding! She is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She made sure we had all of our final preparations finished on a timely schedule and she attended our final meeting with the venue to make sure everything was perfect. The timeline she created for the day was amazing, and she truly made the big day go as smooth as possible. Another great perk was the use of her wedding decoration/reception inventory. It was incredibly helpful (not to mention cost effective) to use things like picture frames, votive candles, etc instead of having to buy them. Not only did I love her, but both my family and my husband’s family had nothing but amazing things to say about working with and interacting with her during the wedding. We can’t thank Jessica and her team enough!

    A Joy to Work With!

    We started working with Jessica about 14 months before our big day and were immediately blown away by how organized, professional and kind she was. Those traits remained in place throughout months of indecisiveness (me), general stress (also me) and last minute issues that required quick thinking (our venue). With Jessica's help and guidance we were able to throw the wedding of our dreams and have received endless complements about how seamless the evening flowed. Jessica was a huge asset to us during the whole process and we are forever grateful for her patience and support! Wedding planning is HARD but Jessica made it painless and you will not regret having her on your team!

    Organized, supportive, creative

    Jessica is one of the most impressive people I've ever worked with, whether it be in my profession or through wedding planning. She was so supportive in translating our ideas to our vendors, giving us thorough guidelines and to-do lists, and pushing back on any unreasonable requests or incompetent service from vendors. We were able to turn to her for anything - from whether our table linens looked good with our napkins to vendor gratuity rates - and she would often offer further support for our original ask, taking initiative to go above and beyond. Throughout the wedding process, I found many vendors and services to be overpriced and overrated, but Jessica and her team were a clear exception.

We are a Los Angeles based Wedding Planning company but plan events all over California. From the coast to Palm Springs, we do it all! We also plan destination weddings!
Absolutely! About 35% of our clients are not local to the area. We offer video calls in place of some of your in-person planning meetings so we can stay on track while still having that in person experience. Our clients benefit from our custom planning tools that keep you on track with your wedding related tasks so when you do have a trip in town you can maximize your time. We understand how worrying it can be planning your wedding from a different location, so we work hard to make sure the process is enjoyable and stress-free.
Yes! We love planning full wedding weekends - everything from the rehearsal dinner or welcome reception to the post-wedding brunch. We also LOVE bridal showers and engagement soirees.
I’ve worked as venue coordinator in my past life and can tell you from experience that there is a big difference between the two. Your venue coordinator is responsible for overseeing the logistics as it relates directly to the venue. A wedding planner will manage ALL logistics and design details with your entire wedding team. 

Your planner will have a process in place to keep everyone organized – including your venue coordinator. Your planner's job is to streamline your wedding experience in such a way that makes the process stress-free for you AND your vendor team. This allows everyone to work in tandem on your wedding day.
