Chic Soirees is a wedding and event planning service specializing in over-the-top, celebrity-style weddings done sustainably. Founder and Lead Event Producer, Teshika is a lover of lavish; but she often felt frustrated with the excessive amounts of waste found behind the scenes. A big believer that glitz and glamour does not need to come at the expense of the environment, Teshika devotes her efforts to show her clientele and the industry at large that weddings can be both spectacularly chic and wonderfully eco-friendly.

Wedding Coordinator
Teshika Burnside was truly amazing from beginning to end. She was there for me throughout our entire wedding journey—from saying “yes to the dress” all the way through the very end of our wedding night. She was professional, organized, attentive, and supportive, and she always made me feel like I was in good hands. What made her stand out even more was the genuine care she showed us personally. On the morning of our wedding, she sent me the sweetest message reminding me to be present, enjoy every moment, love on our family and friends, and, most of all, have fun. That meant so much to me and perfectly reflected the kind of coordinator she was throughout the entire process. After the wedding, Teshika also sent us such a thoughtful message congratulating us, thanking us for trusting her and the Chic Soirées team, and wishing us a beautiful marriage filled with love, laughter, partnership, and wonderful memories. Her kindness and thoughtfulness before, during, and after our wedding truly made us feel valued—not just as clients, but as people. She even asked us to stay in touch and said she would love to see our professional photos when they arrive, which meant so much to us. On our wedding day, I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself because I knew Teshika and her assistant Ms. Ray were behind the scenes, making sure everything flowed beautifully. They worked wonderfully with our vendors, kept everything on schedule, handled every detail, and was always available whenever we needed them. Most importantly kept me relaxed which allowed me to enjoy my special day. Our wedding on August 29, 2026, was absolutely beautiful, and Teshika played such an important role in making it unforgettable. Andre and I are so grateful for the love, care, professionalism, and dedication she gave us. Amazing Coordinator
Teshika was amazing, to say the least. She was readily available throughout the planning process, and was always able to offer unique solutions when we had ideas without an idea of how we'd execute them. That said, she shines even brighter when it's game time -- our wedding day wouldn't have been as calm and seamless as it was without Teshika's mind.
