I'm Alyssa, the founder of Every Good Gift Events, LLC a Portland-based planning studio for weddings and celebrations of every kind. Before this, I spent years as a family law attorney, which taught me how to stay calm under pressure, manage a hundred moving pieces at once, and translate complicated information into clear next steps for the people I'm serving. I started this business to bring that same steadiness into people's best moments, not just their hardest ones. My goal for every client is simple: you celebrate, I'll handle the details.

My background as an attorney means I bring real experience with contracts, deadlines, and high-stakes logistics that most planners haven't had to build. I care about a calm, warm experience over a stiff one. I plan weddings and every kind of celebration in between, and I want every client, regardless of background, to feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of from our first conversation.

Full-service planning means I'm with you from day one through the last dance. I'll help you find and book vendors, manage your budget, design your event, and handle every logistical detail so you never have to think about it twice. My background as an attorney means contracts, deadlines, and the fine print are second nature to me. You focus on celebrating; I'll handle the rest.

Partial planning is for couples who've already got some pieces in place, maybe a venue booked, but want expert help pulling the rest together. I'll step in to manage your vendors, refine your budget, build your timeline, and handle the details as your wedding day approaches. You keep the parts of planning you're enjoying; I take the rest off your plate.

Day-of coordination means you've planned the wedding you've dreamed of, and on the actual day, I make sure it runs exactly as planned so you don't have to think about a single detail. I confirm timelines with vendors, manage setup, run the schedule, and handle anything unexpected, so you and your family can simply be present. My background as an attorney means I stay calm and organized under pressure, no matter what comes up.

    Most coordinated of all the coordinators

    Alyssa is the BEST!

    Working with Alyssa at Every Good Gift Events has been an absolute game-changer for us. As an attorney, I bring strong organizational and problem-solving skills. I specialize in thoughtful, personalized celebrations that reflect each couple’s unique vision!
