At Signature Experiences, I take my professional commitments seriously. Every event is carefully planned, priced, and staffed according to its agreed-upon scope to ensure my clients receive the level of service they deserve. Our agreement was established around a wedding of 150 guests, a count that was communicated and confirmed during our planning process, with a discounted coordination rate. Throughout our time working together, I completed substantial pre-wedding coordination responsibilities, including planning consultations, vendor communications, insurance coordination, floor plan confirmation, logistical preparations, and venue-related arrangements. However, during final preparations, the venue disclosed an anticipated guest count of 210–250 guests, representing an increase of up to 100 additional guests beyond our original agreement. For context, increasing an event from 150 to potentially 250 guests significantly changes the operational requirements, including staffing, guest management, vendor coordination, and overall event logistics. This was not simply a matter of accommodating a few additional guests. It represented a substantial change to the scope of services for which we had originally contracted. I communicated these concerns and participated in multiple conversations in an effort to identify a workable solution. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement that would allow me to responsibly fulfill the expanded scope while maintaining the professional standards I uphold for every client. The decision to end our agreement was not made lightly, particularly given the proximity to the wedding. However, I believe it would have been equally irresponsible to commit to executing an event without the appropriate resources necessary to deliver the level of service promised. I recognize that this outcome was disappointing, and I am genuinely glad to hear that your wedding day was beautiful and memorable. My commitment to every client remains the same: transparent communication, thoughtful preparation, and professional execution that protects both the client’s experience and the integrity of the services I provide.
