With its unique Scottish design and old-world charm, our renowned venue provides an enchanting setting that is rich in history dating back over a century. The Tam O'Shanter is one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles still run by the founding family. Our venue is the perfect wedding site, featuring a lovely combination of rustic magnetism and traditional elegance. The Tam O'Shanter gracefully hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions ranging from small, personal affairs to larger, extravagant affairs.

The Bonnie Prince Charlie Room (BPC)
Featuring a charming fireplace, portraits, and richly paneled walls, our most popular indoor room transports you to a cozy Scottish castle.
Accommodates up to 65 guests for a seated dinner and can be combined with the adjoining Atrium, free-of-charge, to seat up to 85. For a ceremony, we can accommodate 60 seated guests. The BPC is our most versatile room, ideal for almost every type of function. The BPC has doors that close for privacy.

Appointed with authentic artifacts of Scotland's Royal Guards, this unique room features a stunning stained glass nook.
This unique room is an ideal setting for receptions, intimate dinners, and cocktail hours. The Guards room has doors that close for privacy.

Our outdoor Patio showcases a cozy fireplace, modeled after the original fireplace that adorned our pub back in the 30's.
The Patio seats 50 and allows for 75 standing guests, but can accommodate up to 90 seated guests or 120 standing guests when combined with the Garden.

Stress Free Wedding Planning and Perfect Day :)
I had an outstanding experience hosting our wedding reception at The Tam O Shanter. We had a dinner party style wedding reception and rented out the Bonnie Prince Charles room for about 60 people. We truly could not have asked for anything more, our wedding was intimate, beautiful, and memorable. Tabitha helped me plan everything from beginning to end and kindly assisted me with every single one of my questions with incredibly helpful and detailed responses. I felt so grateful to be working with her, she did everything she possibly could to fulfill my requests, which made for a perfect evening. I also really appreciate how easy the entire planning process was. I was so pleasantly surprised that we got to pick custom menus, and the food pricing options were very clear to understand. It made our budgeting process for the wedding a breeze! The staff was so kind on the day of and made every one of my guests feel welcome and attended to. We got so many compliments from family the day after about how amazing the staff was during the reception. The building itself is so beautiful and there are so many beautiful areas for photos. If you are looking for a stress-free wedding planning process, amazing service, and fantastic food, I cannot recommend Tam O Shanter’s enough. They made my wedding a perfect memory. Thank you to everyone there!

Tam O'Shanter was an amazing wedding venue that exceeded our expectations in every way. The communication which started with Tabitha down to the Sam, Dan & then entire server team was easy, fast and complete, which made our special day a breeze. The quality of their work and the overall value was truly outstanding - the venue was beautifully set up, spotlessly clean, and the food and drinks were incredible. The staff was courteous, helpful and attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we were happy. They went above and beyond to assist our party, from serving to helping set up. Everyone in attendance raved about the incredible service and delicious cuisine. We could not have asked for a better team to help make our engagement party perfect. We highly recommend Tam O'Shanter to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding venue experience.

A charming venue! My wedding was the perfect 24-person affair. It even convinced my sister that she may not want the big wedding she originally planned because she thought mine was so lovely! The roaring fireplace makes a naturally great backdrop for vows. The coordinators are really responsive and accommodating. They were able to arrange the venue so that the tables and aisle were arranged at the same time, eliminating the need for downtime in between converting the ceremony room to a reception.
