About this venue
The Candlewood Inn is a stunning waterfront venue located in Brookfield, CT. Imagine your ceremony overlooking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding hills, a sunset cocktail reception on the lakefront lawn, and a gorgeous ballroom with arched windows allowing natural light and stunning views of the shimmering lake. Crystal chandeliers adorn the ballroom and cast a warm glow over the festivities. Our event team has more than 20 years of experience on property and will design a beautiful celebration for you and your partner. Led by our Executive Chef and in-house culinary team, the reception package offers a five-hour event with a premium open bar, butler passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktail hour stations, plated dinner or dinner stations, tiered cake and coffee. Our team is eager to help you create the perfect event, and will pull out all the stops to ensure a flawless and fabulous night.

Vows can be exchanged on the lawns, where tranquil water, breathtaking views and lake breezes will create an enchanting experience. Following your ceremony, guests have an easy transition into your cocktail reception as they are greeted with passed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace and lawn. Watch the sunset over the rolling hills and relax with live music or have fun with lawn games until the festivities inside begin!

The ballroom features eight-foot arched picture windows which bathe the floor in natural light and provide stunning views of the lake. Crystal chandeliers also adorn the room and cast a warm glow over the festivities. As candlelight bounces off the stunning glassware and tablescape, your guests will enjoy a fabulous meal created by our in-house culinary team. And don't forget a cocktail from our original 1940's stunning mahogany bar.

Outstanding Venue and Service
My husband and I could not have made a better choice by choosing Candlewood Inn for our wedding venue. Christian and the staff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. Our day went absolutely perfectly thanks to them!!

Perfect venue with an amazing team!
We had the most incredible experience at Candlewood Inn! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the lake views are hard to beat, but the team is truly what made our experience so special. Everyone went above and beyond throughout the entire day and made sure every detail was taken care of. They were attentive, accommodating, and made everything feel completely seamless. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the service was. We are so grateful we chose Candlewood and couldn't have imagined celebrating our wedding anywhere else. Thank you to the entire team for making our day better than we ever could have hoped!

Above and beyond, best day ever!
We had the absolute best day ever celebrating our wedding at the Candlewood Inn! From the first tour, their staff was so pleasant, informative, and easy to work with. We also loved that their pricing was very transparent and inclusive. We worked with Haley and she was amazing and prompt answering every question we had coming up to our big day. Our wedding day itself could not have gone smoother. Our bridal attendants Brooke and Delilah were so fun, friendly, and helped us with absolutely anything we needed- we felt like we didn’t have to do anything but enjoy the morning in the beautiful bridal suite. While nobody wishes for a rainy day, we ended up inside and had a gorgeous ceremony in front of the windows. It still felt spacious and our guests definitely did not feel any disruptions to the day. They raved about the food (and there was SO much of it too)! We added on the martini bar and everyone couldn’t stop talking about it the next day. Overall, we had the best experience, and never once felt stressed about the flow of the day. Bonus: they let our dog join us on the grounds for photos. Would 1000% recommend!

Our December wedding at Candlewood Inn was truly unforgettable, especially since many had never attended a winter wedding before. From start to finish, everything went so smoothly without a glitch, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. Candlewood Inn brought our vision to life beautifully. We received countless compliments on how stunning the venue was and how delicious the food was. The team's attention to detail and professionalism made our day unforgettable. Our wedding was in December. We would highly recommend this place to any couple trying to find a beautiful venue and a stress-free, perfectly run event.

The Candlewood Inn
My husband and I fell in love with The Candlewood Inn the first time we saw it. It was the perfect place to host our wedding reception! The venue was beautiful and the staff at Candlewood were amazing! They helped make our day perfect. Our guests are still raving about the wonderul service and delicious food. We would 100 % recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!
