Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. Richard was absolutely incredible and not only a highlight, but a key part of why our day was so perfect. He was so easy to work with, kept our day peaceful and on schedule, and provided our incredible photos so quickly including many previews within 24 hours!! On the big day, he was calm and attentive, and really settled any anxious energy I was feeling. He arrived early and beyond prepared. He took all the shots I asked, and others I didn’t even know I needed. We opted into the second photographer and were so happy with the extra coverage and support we received from Mikaela! We did our vows privately and even though Richard shooting it really did feel like it was just us. Richard also was a huge help corralling family members and keeping us on schedule. He had fun with us on the dance floor and kept pictures moving so we really got to enjoy our wedding! Mikeala was also great at always rearranging my dress/train to fall perfectly for every single family portrait! We really couldn’t have done our day successfully without Richard and Mikeala! Almost more importantly, Richard’s support and organization before our wedding day was unmatched. We did engagement photos at our apartment and in Central Park that we used for our Save the Dates and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out. We didn’t have a wedding planner/coordinator so Richard was instrumental in creating our timeline and then making sure everything stayed on schedule! Can’t wait to use Richard again for family photos sometime in the future!! :)

So happy with Rich!
Rich was an incredible photographer! From the very beginning, he was organized, responsive, and on top of every detail leading up to our wedding day. He created a comprehensive timeline of the day and provided thoughtful professional guidance whenever we needed it, which made the entire day feel so much less stressful. On the wedding day, he captured every moment beautifully—even with some very windy conditions! We are so happy with our photos and are so grateful to have these memories to look back on for years to come. Rich was in the middle of the dance floor to capture all the fun and energy of the reception. He truly didn't miss a moment! We also loved receiving our sneak peek so quickly—it kept all the excitement going the very next day. We highly recommend everyone hire Rich!

I simply cannot say enough good things about Richard. We met with Richard for our engagement and wedding photos after a strong recommendation from a good friend. From the very start he was pleasant, professional, and so easy and lovely to work with. My husband and I don't love taking too many pictures, and Richard made it easy and fun. We got endless compliments from our family and wedding parties about how easy and professional he was to work with. His personality fit with in with our parties, and it made the day such a joy. The very next morning after our wedding we received our previews, and when I say I was absolutely blown away that is honestly an understatement. The pictures are perfect, they are stunning, they are everything we ever wanted!! We simply cannot wait to see the rest of our photos. As life goes on and more events occur, we simply cannot imagine turning to anyone else for capturing our special moments. Thank you, Richard, for helping to make our day as perfect as it was!

Spectacular wedding photographer
We were so happy with Rich as our wedding photographer. Rich is so amazingly talented and kept us both so calm and relaxed which shines through in the photos! Our wedding pictures turned out so fantastic we loved working with him and he kept us on schedule and organized even with some unexpected transportation delays to the venue. Listen up, Richard Krutick is the photographer you need for your wedding. From the moment we met Richard, we knew he was the right photographer for the job. Everyone tells you that engagement shoots are awkward and not fun - our engagement shoot with Richard Krutick was a blast. The photos came out amazing and he directed the photo shoot better than we could’ve imagined. Our wedding pictures came out perfect and we are so happy we picked Krutick Photography 10/10 recommend. It’s a shame that he can’t be the photographer for every single event in the world because we would love it if everyone could be as happy with their photographer as we are
