We mail you a vintage camera kit, a Hi8 camcorder, a Super 8 film camera, or both, loaded, tested, and ready to shoot. You and your guests pass it around all weekend, ship it back with the prepaid label, and our team develops the real film and edits it into a short movie you'll keep forever, delivered with all the raw footage. We ship anywhere in the country, and nothing makes us happier than footage of a grandma filming the dance floor

No videographer shows up at your wedding! Your guests are the film crew. The camera gets passed from your best friend to your dad to your college roommate, and what comes back is a film only the people who love you could have made. We shoot on real film and real vintage cameras, so the warmth, grain, and light leaks aren't a filter, they're the actual medium. There's no crew to feed, no shot list negotiations, no travel fees ever (the kit ships nationwide), and at $1,200–$1,950 flat it costs a fraction of traditional videography and why parents and friends often buy it as a wedding gift.     Incredible way to capture your special day!

    I rented an I Shot That camera for a friends wedding and found it so easy to use and film from. It's also such a special way to commemorate someone's wedding day and I can't wait to surprise the bride with the footage.

    Long Live Film!

    I Shot That absolutely delivered! We got the premium package with both Super 8 film and the Hi8 camcorder and it was such a fun addition to our day! Our guests were obsessed with playing cinematographer, and some of our favorite moments ended up being the blurry, candid, perfectly imperfect clips they captured. The whole rental process was super easy, and getting to relive everything with that nostalgic film look was pure magic. So special to have this forever!

We ship a fully loaded vintage camera to your door 4–5 days before your wedding. Your guests film throughout the weekend — getting ready, the ceremony, the dance floor, all of it. Afterward, you pack everything back in the case and drop it off with the prepaid UPS label inside. Our team processes the footage and edits it into a finished wedding film, delivered digitally in 5–7 weeks along with all your raw footage.
Super 8 is a motion picture film format introduced by Kodak in 1965 — the format home movies were shot on for decades. A Super 8 wedding film is your wedding captured on actual film cartridges, developed and scanned at a professional film lab. The result has rich grain, warm color, and a gentle flicker that digital filters can't replicate, because it isn't a filter. It's real film. If your parents have old home movies of birthdays and beach trips, that's the look.
Hi8 is the camcorder format of the late '90s and early 2000s — the camera your dad pointed at every soccer game and graduation. Our Hi8 digital kits capture that warm, soft, slightly grainy camcorder look straight out of the camera. No filter, no preset, no pretending. It reads as instantly nostalgic and completely candid, which is exactly why guests relax in front of it in a way they never do around a professional camera rig.
Super 8 is true analog film — lab-processed, richly grained, cinematic. It feels like a memory. Because film is finite, your guests' shots are shorter and more intentional, and the final edit runs 3–4 minutes of pure film. Hi8 is digital video with an early-2000s camcorder aesthetic — warm, candid, and generous with record time. It feels like a home movie, and the final film runs 4–5 minutes. The honest shorthand: Super 8 looks like a memory, Hi8 feels like a home movie. Most couples know which one they want within two videos of watching both. Can't choose?
