“Lauren jumped in to save my wedding at the last minute and was a hero the whole time! The vendor we had originally planned to use for our mothers and the wedding party's hair & makeup raised all of their prices on us at the last minute and Lauren agreed to price match. She was kind and helpful every step of the way, going with the flow, adjusting timing as needed, and providing a sense of calm in the getting ready room. Somebody asked to borrow a diffuser and she was happy to provide without charging any extra. I needed a lipstick touchup after my artist had left and she was happy to assist. We found out day of that our wedding date was her birthday and she had still agreed to work with us, celebrate us, and match the prices we needed that day! She was kind, supportive, generous, and very good at what she did all day long and we're so grateful to have found her for our special day!”

She was very knowledgeable about hairstyles and helped me choose a look that worked perfectly with my dress. On the day of the wedding the team was on time and finished early which provided us some extra downtime to relax. In addition, Stephanie also took the time to write a timeline out for the bridal party that way they knew when they needed to be onsite by for services and kept the day stress free on that end of things, so appreciative of that! The makeup artist she works with was also amazing and recommended a lash lift beforehand, which gave me such a confidence boost for the wedding day. “Cindy was absolutely lovely to work with. From our first interactions over email, she was responsive, friendly, and just really kind! I am not a big make-up person and was very concerned that traditional "wedding" make-up would transform me and make me not look like myself. These worries immediately went away after my make-up trial (included in the price). Cindy listened and understood what I envisioned and was super flexible to change things up until I was comfortable. When I showed my bridal party pictures from my trial, they all said, "that's exactly how I want to look on your wedding." They used CINDY'S work as their inspiration pics. Everyone was so pleased by their looks (we are all very minimalistic, soft glam gals) and was raving all day about how good she was! Our make-up stayed put all night and I did not need to touch it up once. I highly recommend Cindy - she was kind, easy to work with, friendly, and is just really good at her job! “Ne'Kea and the Art of Beauty team were impeccable. I needed someone who could do both makeup and hair, and my wedding party had a spectrum of races, skin tones and hair types. This was not a problem at all for Ne'Kea and her team. Contacting her was easy and her responsiveness was prompt and professional. She worked with me to schedule my trial, which could have been a challenge because I live in New York and the wedding was in Baltimore. We ended up doing the trial near me in New Jersey and it couldn't have been more convenient. We had some last minute schedule changes with my bridal party on the day of the wedding and the team handled it easily. And my makeup and hair were exactly what I had envisioned. Christine was able to help answer any questions and made suggestions for me and my skincare routine during my trial run for the makeup. Because of her suggestions, I ended up with a healthy glow on my skin and less wrinkles so I didn't have to wear concealer at all for my wedding! I was thrilled about that since I wanted to have my freckles still show through and have a more natural look for the pictures.
