Vibrant Hues Events
Rating: 5.0 (29 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Grand Lake, CO
  • Offer

Welcome to the page of whimsy, color, and texture! When I say we want to "create events as vibrant as you", what I mean is that we want people to walk into your wedding and feel that it is "so you". Our style can be quirky and offbeat at times, such as creating florals for hobbit or haunted disco themes. Our style can also be focused on making a wedding look as wild and organic as possible. Either way the wedding day is about joy and celebration. We design for our florals in some way to bring levity and evoke feeling through the day. Most of our weddings serviced are in Colorado's Front Range and the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

“Working with Vibrant Hues Events was such a pleasure from start to finish. Tatyana’s communication was timely and organized throughout the planning process, which made everything feel effortless. The hand-painted flowers she created for our Portugal-themed wedding were absolutely stunning. You could see the care and time invested in each piece, and they became the perfect focal point of our celebration. What impressed me most was how intentionally she approached the vision, delivering work that felt both simple and colorful while exceeding expectations. She truly understood how to capture the theme through her designs, and I couldn't have imagined our shoot without her creative touch.”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Grand Lake, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We loved using Flower Moxie! Morgan Wilt helped us put together the perfect cart, they all arrived when they said they would, and the flowers were near perfect. It is time consuming if you're a perfectionist (my bridal party and I spent about 6 hours arranging all of our bouquets, centerpieces, aisle pieces, arch pieces etc.) so don't underestimate the amount of time needed! But overall such a lovely experience and we would recommend it to anyone interested in doing their own florals.”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Grand Lake, CO

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Holy moly!! Working with Brittany at The Faux Bouquets was a breeze, and our flowers looked remarkable -- and real! Nobody even believed me that the flowers were silk because they looked so legit. I would highly recommend her for any future events. And the best part is that we were able to repurpose the flowers seamlessly from ceremony to reception!”

“I had the pleasure of working with these two ladies for my wedding, and overall, I truly believe they are wonderful people to work with. They have great style and genuinely want to do the very best for their clients! When I first met with them during the beginning stages of planning, they were willing to meet with me in person to discuss the vision I had for my wedding. They were excited and eager to hear my ideas while also bringing ideas of their own, which I really appreciated. As a bride, I did find myself wanting a little more communication throughout the planning process. As my wedding day got closer, my anxiety increased, and I personally would have appreciated more updates and communication along the way. I don’t mean that negatively—it was simply something that would have helped me feel more comfortable and confident. I shared my Pinterest board and vision with them, and I believe they brought several of my ideas to life beautifully. I did found myself wanting some different details at the reception that i thought we discussed, although I understand this may have been influenced by my budget and what I was able to afford. Overall, I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked. I especially loved the florals they created for my bouquet. I honestly wish I could have afforded to incorporate more of those same flowers throughout the reception because they were absolutely beautiful! They created my bouquet and my family’s boutonnieres for our elopement ceremony in Moab, Utah, and they were gorgeous. They even helped me figure out how to travel with the flowers for 6–7 hours, which I really appreciated. They also provided eucalyptus leaves throughout our wedding reception in Akron. I have attached pictures from both events. One thing I would recommend discussing ahead of time is availability on the actual wedding day. These ladies took on my wedding as well as another wedding that same weekend and had already committed to being present at the other wedding. They were still able to organize the florals and decorations for my wedding, which I greatly appreciated, but they were not able to be at my reception. I knew and agreed to this ahead of time, so it was not unexpected; however, there were a few things I feel may have gone more smoothly if they had been able to be there personally. There was also a lot happening for them that weekend, and I am genuinely grateful they were still able to help with so many aspects of our wedding. I loved how excited and invested they were in making our day special. One area that was difficult for me was cleanup the following day. We were asked to organize and separate the different pieces that belonged to them, but I found the process confusing, which added stress during an already emotional and exhausting time. Overall, I would absolutely recommend working with these wonderful ladies! My biggest advice for future brides would be to communicate exactly what you envision, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to share your feelings or concerns throughout the planning process. I would also recommend discussing pricing in detail and making sure you understand the cost of everything you want included, as wedding expenses can add up very quickly. Despite some of the challenges, I truly appreciated their creativity, excitement, and willingness to help make our wedding days special. I am thankful for the beautiful florals and decorations they provided.”

“We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”

“We are so grateful we chose Privé Events as our wedding florist. Working with Sam Hoffman was truly a game changer. Neither of us knows much about flowers, and we were honestly a bit overwhelmed at the thought of having to figure out floral design. But Sam made the process feel so easy and approachable. We knew we wanted something simple, elegant, and cost-conscious, and she delivered on every front without ever making us feel like we had to compromise on beauty or vision. Sam never made us feel pressured to “reinvent the wheel,” and instead helped us create something that felt natural, timeless, and just right for us. The communication was clear and low-stress from start to finish, and the end result completely exceeded our expectations. Privé Events provided everything from bouquets and aisle markers to greenery on the venue’s wooden beams, a stunning floral chuppah, and gorgeous bud vases and table arrangements for the reception. Every detail was thoughtfully done and beautifully placed. It all came together perfectly and really elevated the atmosphere of the entire day. We can't recommend Privé Events and Sam enough, especially for couples looking for someone who gets it and can bring your vision to life without stress or pressure. “Flowers by Christy Joy was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, Christy Joy was communicative, caring, and always positive. She took everything I wanted into consideration and delivered beautiful, exactly-what-I-wanted floral arrangements. Everyone said my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets were the prettiest they had ever seen. Christy's attention to detail and ability to bring my vision to life was truly impressive. I would highly recommend Flowers by Christy Joy to any couple looking for an exceptional florist who will help make your wedding day extra special.”

Zombie Flowers

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

“I only had bouquet and my now husband had a lapel crawler. The dried flower arrangement from Zombie Flowers was stunning. It looked incredible in photos and is still just as beautiful now. Knowing it will last forever makes it such a meaningful keepsake.”
