While the venue had its own coordinator, Kalyna was absolutely essential in making our day run smoothly. One of the biggest challenges we faced was having a large wedding party, and Kalyna took charge of wrangling everyone, making sure that all our bridal party members and vendors were exactly where they needed to be. She was super organized and kept everything on track, even when things got a little hectic. Kalyna’s ability to troubleshoot any logistical issues that popped up was amazing. Whether it was managing timing or helping with last-minute adjustments, she handled everything seamlessly. She was calm under pressure, and we felt so relieved knowing that she was behind the scenes making sure all the moving pieces came together. In addition to managing the big day itself, Kalyna also helped us with finding vendors leading up to the wedding. The most expensive part of any wedding or vow renewal is photography and/or video and since we personally do both, we pass the savings on to our clients. We have the A-team of florists, limousines, musicians, etc. Our hair and makeup stylists come to you and everybody on our team loves what they do as much as we do. We also believe in prompt delivery of the finished product(s) taking a day or two, not weeks.

“We could not recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings enough! Leah and her husband Mike are just two brilliant people and they made our wedding extra special! My husband is British and I am from Missouri, and Leah was able to not only organize our wedding, but guided us on where we needed to go to get our marriage certificate and all that we would need for me to immigrate to the UK. She walked us through in our initial meeting once we arrived in Hawaii, the marriage application, filled out for us and just really made us feel so at ease on what to expect on the day. She helped organize the loveliest lady to come to our hotel and do my hair and makeup on the wedding day, and even for flowers for my bouquet and my husband's lapel. She went and got them and delivered them. When you go with Hawaiian Eye, you are choosing someone who knows the island, who uses local islanders for vendors, and who really provides an all around service you would not find anywhere else! Mike did amazing with our photos and wedding video, they are STUNNING! These two people will forever have the warmest space in our hearts for making our special day that much more special! “We worked with Sandra for about a year leading up to our wedding at La Pietra, and truly, we don’t know what we would have done without her. We’re both busy professionals based in SF, so we knew we needed someone in Hawaii who could really take the reins. Sandra was a godsend. The biggest thing for us was that NOTHING fell through the cracks. If we mentioned something once, she remembered it. She was also somehow always calm. Even when we were indecisive, changed our minds, or threw something at her last minute (oops), we never once saw her rattled or annoyed. Special shoutout to Kandis too, who helped coordinate so many details throughout the year! We also loved that Sandra wasn’t afraid to tell us what she thought. We were initially against having a tent because we thought it would ruin the look of the wedding. She ultimately left the decision to us, but made sure we understood the realities of Hawaii weather. We're so glad we listened! It rained the day before, was insanely windy the day of, and the tent ended up being a great decision. Her vendor network was another huge plus. After so many years planning weddings in Hawaii, she knows who’s good. She gave us a handful of trusted options for each vendor, we interviewed and chose who felt right, and we ended up LOVING everyone we hired. They also consistently told us how incredibly “on it” Sandra was. And on the wedding day, we just… enjoyed it. Everything ran so smoothly that we could be fully present. Seeing everything we’d spent a year planning and envisioning finally come to life, even more beautifully than we imagined, was so special. It genuinely felt like the perfect day, and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without Sandra and her team. We’d recommend Sandra a million times over.”

She founded Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii in 2010, inspired by her sons: Zen and Jude. With extensive experience, including six years apprenticeship under notable coordinators, coordinating concerts for emerging talent for a Miami Beach record label. Yanicke brings expertise and passion to her work. She earned a Fashion Design degree from Miami Art University and devoted early years to the Fashion Industry before focusing on event coordination.

“I don't know where to start. My wedding which started out as a disaster became the best day of my life thanks to Yanicke from Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii. I hired a popular and reputable wedding coordinator on island of Oahu before we found Yanicke. We started planning a year ago with a specific coordinator that I will not name. She was not the best communicator and her response time was awful. Two weeks before my wedding we could not get in touch with this coordinator and we arrived to the island from CANADA with my family. Our coordinator was a no show at the rehearsal. I was so traumatised. We booked a lovely estate on the west side of the island. The owner of the estate felt so bad for us, that he provided us a recommendation of his favourite coordinator and said she might be available for last minute clients. He provided us Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii contact information. I contacted Yanicke FROM ZENJU WEDDINGS and cried to her and explained our situation. I asked her if she was available in two days. She gladly accepted. Ofcourse we offered to pay her more for taking our wedding last minute. I called other companies and no one would take us on. When I provided her all of our information, she was shocked that our planning looked like a rush job and nothing was completed. I hired her for Day of Coordination, but she had to clean up a complete butcher job from the previous coordinator, that she did way more than the Day of Coordination. She provided a functional lay out, an efficient time line, ordered rentals that was needed for the caterers which we did not have, re-did our entire design. It was not functional at all. Yanicke was in shock with the awful job the previous coordinator did. Yanicke was a god sent. There are still good people in this world. She even showed up at my hotel room in the morning to make sure all the vendors arrived on time, coordinated our first look, and picked up all of the favours from the hotel. Her coordination was the best! She thought of things we did not know, since I am the first one to get married in my family. Her coordination started from the moment we woke up. Her team of helpers were so kind and dressed so professional. They helped us and our guests with everything we needed. Yanicke made our 20,000 wedding look like a 50,000 wedding. She responded to all our emails immediately and kept me sane. My mother cried with joy and so happy we found her! I highly recommend Zenju Weddings!!! They really know what they are doing and you can tell they have been doing this for a long time. Yanicke is not only the co-founder and owner but she felt like my best friend. She is not the coordinator that will tell you what you want to hear with all the corporate BS. She is real and will be very blunt on what not to do and save your day! She is the person to trust with your wedding! Thank you so much to Yanicke and her team! Patrick and I are so grateful you saved our special day! You are a life saver!!!! We will be back to Oahu on our 1 year anniversary and maybe you can plan an anniversary party for is in a year. MAHALO!!!!”

“Working with Ginger Bloom Collection was a game-changer for our wedding day. Hannah was everything I was searching for with planner for day-of coordination. She was responsive and organized from start to finish, keeping us on track with every detail leading up to the big day. I got the day-of/month-of planning package so we had a Zoom meeting, consistent emails, and access to a shared Google file to stay on top of the planning. The day before the wedding, we were able to meet before the rehearsal to provide the decor and party favors to which brought a big relief to not have to worry over for the setup. Hannah's calming presence helped center me from the rehearsal to the day of the wedding. On the wedding day itself, Hannah and her assistant handled the behind-the-scenes work at Cafe Julia with such grace that we barely noticed everything happening around us. Her setup and breakdown help allowed us to be more present for the wedding and was on-point thanks to the prep work which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help! I could write so much more on how incredible Events by McKenna is, but to sum it all up, they are the best choice for your wedding planning and coordinating needs and you will not regret choosing them for your big day!!”

“First off, if you are debating hiring a coordinator or planner look no further. Cassie is THE best!! We hired Cassie just a few months before our big day after having some communication issues with our venues coordinators, and from the moment she joined, she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She truly made our wedding stress-free and magical, handling every detail with incredible care. Cassie attended our final details meeting the day before the wedding, and our entire wedding party was blown away by her professionalism and calm demeanor. She guided the rehearsal effortlessly, making sure we were all on the same page, which made the big day run smoothly. On the wedding day, Cassie handled everything seamlessly. She helped with the little things, like holding my flowers and managing my dress during our first look. She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up our entire tent before the wedding, and even took care of the breakdown so we could just pick everything up the next day. We had some communication issues with our venue leading up to the wedding, but Cassie stepped in and resolved all of the details without us having to worry about a thing. If anything went wrong on the day of, we had no idea—she handled it all behind the scenes, she was so so awesome! Knowing she had it all under control gave us the peace of mind to fully enjoy our day. What truly touched us were the thoughtful extras.
