“I highly recommend this company to take photos at your wedding! We loved our photographer Percy. He was incredible, and so helpful. He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.”

“I had Cat for makeup and Reyna for hair for both my trial and wedding. Both ladies were absolutely professional and made me feel my best! I had some issues with my lashes during the trial and Cat used a different one on my wedding and it fixed the problem. They take your feedback seriously during your trial so you have nothing to worry about on your wedding day. I normally don't wear makeup except special festive occasions and my trial stood the test of spicy hotpot at the end of the day without smudging. Same thing on my wedding day everything stayed until pretty much late evening after dinner, cake and bubble tea. Not immediately advertised, but they also do groom makeup! Husbands deserve to look good on their day, too. I would recommend their team for your wedding!”

“We had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at Silver Lake in early May 2026. When we toured the grounds a little over a year prior, in February 2025, we knew the same day that this would be our place. Not only is the setting beautiful, but we could tell from the beginning that our occasion mattered to Silver Lake staff. For something as meaningful as a wedding, you want to feel special. We felt supported and in good hands; that feeling was consistent throughout the planning process as I planned our wedding (without planner) and had many questions to ask Janene along the way. Amy was super hands-on for the day-of, making sure things went according to plan. She even made our rehearsal fun. Our guests all had a great time as well and have complimented us on the food service. I’d do it all over again, truly. Thank you Silver Lake!”

Moonflower

“We had our wedding at Moonflower, and it was amazing! We originally found Moonflower on Zola. Although we are from the area, we had never visited before, and the photos immediately caught our attention. The bar fit our vibe perfectly, and after visiting a few times, we knew it was the right place for us. We rented both spaces: the main bar upstairs and Nightshade, the speakeasy downstairs. Moonflower has a small stage in the main bar, which we used for our ceremony. The space already has so much character that it needed very little decorating. We brought small flower vases and an altar piece that the bride and her now mother in law made together. After the ceremony, we held cocktail hour and served food buffet style in the main bar. Later, everyone moved downstairs to Nightshade. Its lounge atmosphere and dance floor were perfect for our 50 to 60 guests. Some people relaxed around the cocktail tables while others danced, so everyone could enjoy the night in their own way. Moonflower’s event organizer, Morgan, was wonderful. She made the entire planning process feel easy and was a joy to work with. She helped turn our ideas into reality, assisting with day of logistics, décor, beverage packages, and every question that came up. She was always responsive and available. Morgan also helped us think through details that had not occurred to us, including coffee for our guests, explaining the parking situation, contacting nearby businesses about using their lots, and recommending DJs. We ultimately hired one of the DJs she suggested. Her extra support was incredibly helpful and took a great deal of stress out of planning. If you have not tried Moonflower’s drinks, you are missing out. Their regular cocktail menu is fantastic, and our experience was even more special because of a custom cocktail session with Zach. He created signature drink options for each of us based on our tastes and favorite cocktails. Every option was spectacular, and the final drinks felt personal and special. We chose Funeral Potatoes for the food. Since they already handle the food at Moonflower, we were able to try many dishes beforehand. Our guests raved about everything. We especially recommend the brussels sprouts, deviled eggs, and caprese sandwiches. Alexis, who heads up Funeral Potatoes, was also extremely helpful with selecting the menu. The only outside food we brought in was our wedding cake. The entire staff was phenomenal. Everyone treated the occasion with the perfect balance of care, professionalism, and fun. The night went off without a hitch and was truly one of the best nights of our lives. Moonflower was also extremely reasonable compared with other venues we considered in the city, especially with an open bar and food available on site. Street parking was plentiful, and none of our guests had trouble finding a spot. For anyone looking for a relaxed wedding for 50 to 60 people with a memorable lounge atmosphere, fantastic staff, buffet style food, and exceptional cocktails, Moonflower should be at the top of your list.”

“What can I say!!! The whole experience was amazing! From start to finish! Daniel! Was the best! With helping us organize everything with the music! The flow of things! The music was excellent! DJ Alex read the room very well! The dance floor was never empty! Our guest were saying how well he balanced English and Spanish music and also mentioned that our wedding is one for the books because of how good the music was! Our guest danced there butts off! “Anna Piotrowski with Piotrowski Strings is an incredible violinist!! She played the violin during our entire wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, our first dance, and then played the electric violin for an hour and a half during the open dance portion of the reception. Anna's music was extremely beautiful and touching for the ceremony and first dance and vibrant for the cocktail hour and reception. During the reception, she played the electric violin alongside our DJ and absolutely crushed it! Prior to the wedding, Anna was easy to get a hold of and met with us and the DJ a few times to go over how the night could work best. I would recommend Anna 10 out of 10 times!”

“The Bluewater Kings Band provided what truly felt like white glove service to make our wedding dance floor exactly what we wanted. Ryan was extremely responsive over email and our phone call before the wedding allowed us to lay out what we wanted the experience to be. In addition to how easy it was to work with them, their performance was spectacular. They were professional, polished and musically phenomenal. Their set list truly sounded like we had hand-picked every song (we only gave them a list of our favorite types of music and they knocked it out of the park). We leveraged the piano player for our ceremony music and it was beautiful and a nice touch at a reasonable price point as an add-on.”
