“Our wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I had always dreamed of more than just a single day or a few hours of celebration. I imagined a full weekend surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love I had hoped for my entire life. Black Walnut Farm made that dream a reality in the most magical way. My fiancé and I got engaged in June 2024 and waited until August to begin planning so we could savor being engaged. Black Walnut Farm was our first venue visit. During their open house, we explored the property while enjoying signature cocktails and bites, and we immediately felt at home meeting Jim. His warmth, charisma, and genuine spirit set the tone for everything that followed. The estate is breathtaking. Acres of beauty, an enchanting forest, whimsical gardens, and a farmhouse filled with stunning, eclectic antiques. Within minutes, we knew our search was over. As we left, Jim smiled, saying he could tell we had found “the one.” The planning process was seamless and stress-free. As someone who goes with the flow, I was amazed by how organized and supportive the team was. Timelines, documents, and communication were clear and thoughtful. Sarah, co-owner and Jim’s partner, made the experience effortless. While the venue is largely a la carte, Sarah provides a curated list of trusted vendors so you never feel lost. Together, Sarah and Jim are an unmatched team. We chose the weekend package, allowing us and six guests to stay in the farmhouse from Thursday through Monday. Walking in felt like stepping into a dream. We were greeted with a handwritten card, a charcuterie board, and champagne. Fresh banana bread, muffins, and cookies were displayed, the refrigerator stocked with snacks, drinks, and s’mores essentials, and a bar cart held homemade old fashioneds. Every room included robes and fresh water by the bedside, and fireplaces were ready with stacked firewood. Our honeymoon suite was spacious and cozy, with its own fireplace, sitting area, and clawfoot tub. Black Walnut Farm even created a custom flag with our names and named a tree in our honor, a meaningful and unforgettable touch. On Friday evening, we hosted our rehearsal dinner for fifty-five guests in the barn, which perfectly blends rustic elegance with antique details and warmth. The staff’s pride and attention to detail were evident, and Jim, Sarah, or Lindsey were always nearby to ensure everything ran smoothly. After dinner, my bridesmaids and I returned to the farmhouse for a cozy night by the fire watching Father of the Bride. Our wedding day was pure magic. We got ready together in a sun-filled room, sharing laughter and happy tears. We exchanged vows in the forest, a fairytale setting. The celebration continued in the barn with cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and dessert. Guests loved the barn loft, complete with a photo booth and a phone for leaving messages. Although the weather prevented our planned bonfire hour, Sarah and Jim graciously extended our time in the barn, ensuring the night remained just as special. This weekend was the best experience of our lives. Our friends and family still talk about how incredible it was. We are endlessly grateful to Sarah, Jim, Miss Lily, and the entire Black Walnut Farm team for creating a wedding weekend we will cherish forever.”

“Choosing to get married at Full Moon Resort was the BEST decision ever, as it made everything else about the wedding planning process so much easier. Given that we decided to forgo a wedding planner, my husband and I were looking for a venue that felt "all inclusive," where we did not have to outsource and juggle several vendors on the day of. That being said, FMR offered everything we could have asked for - an on-site ceremony location, a beautiful reception venue, on-site catering (with amazing food) with a staffed bar, an after party location, lodging for our guests, and so much more. Because of this, we did not have to include any additional vendors for our dream wedding to happen (aside from a photographer). FMR was so considerate and thoughtful every step of the way. They were in constant communication with us as a couple and made sure that we were aware of all of the behind the scenes planning going on (how hard they were working) without overwhelming us. The staff working with us on the day of our wedding made sure that everything went off without a hitch - we could not believe how smoothly the evening went. Even our guests were talking about how smooth things went. All of our loved ones were shocked at how stunning of an evening we had. The vibe of the venue felt so laid back, which allowed us to focus on being in the moment and enjoying time with our guests. We are currently trying to convince everyone engaged couple we know to consider getting married there - it was just that amazing! If you are looking for an easy, "all-inclusive" feeling venue that simplifies your hunt for vendors, this may just be the place for you.”

“We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. “We cannot say enough incredible things about Paramount Country Club—it truly exceeded every expectation. One of the biggest reasons our wedding day was so seamless was because of Alana, the absolute best coordinator you could ask for. From start to finish, she was there for us every step of the way and genuinely made us feel like no request was ever too big—she somehow made everything happen. From our very first meeting through the wedding day, she answered all of our questions and allowed us to stop by the venue multiple times for measurements, walkthroughs, tastings, and to drop off items ahead of time, which made planning so much easier. On the wedding day itself, you truly do not need to hire an outside coordinator—Alana is right there the entire day, communicating with vendors, keeping everything on schedule, and making sure every detail runs perfectly. And Maria is truly an angel. Having her with you on the wedding day is absolutely incredible. She steamed all of our dresses and suits, made sure we were eating and drinking throughout the day, kept the bridal and groom suites stocked with food and drinks, bustled my dress, and helped with anything and everything we needed. Her presence alone made the day feel calmer and far less stressful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with gorgeous mountain views in the background (a must for me), and our photos came out incredible. Being able to stay on-site and get ready in the cottage is a total game changer and made the experience even better. Another huge highlight is the food—there are so many options for both cocktail hour and dinner, and every single one was a hit. Our guests are still talking about how impressed they were, and the service throughout the entire event was truly above and beyond. We would recommend Paramount Country Club to anyone without hesitation—it was the perfect venue for the most unforgettable day.”

“We got married here in October 2025. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and the venue was gorgeous for the whole day. As we were getting married in mid October, weather was a concern and although we didn’t need it Kelsey was great at easing our concerns with a contingency plan. From the first meeting with Perry, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran perfect. On the actual wedding day, Kelsey and my bridal attendant Jen helped make sure that everything ran smoothly from the moment we got there. They made sure that the bridal party and families were comfortable during pictures and were eating and drinking. Kelsey is absolutely amazing at organizing and very communicative which helped make sure everything ran smoothly, even in the months leading up to the day. When my wedding planner was non communicative and I was unable to reach her, Kelsey stepped in and answered all my questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We also used Vincenza for our Chuppah and decor and flowers. She executed our vision exactly how we wanted and everything looked beautiful on the day of! People are still talking about how amazing the food was and how great and attentive the servers were. I highly recommend the Briarcliff Manor.”

“Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)”

“We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!”

Floria was so wonderful to work with - really flexible, communicative, and warm. Arif made sure everything ran smoothly on the day-of. The space was so beautiful and elegant and the food was excellent. They were willing to answer a million questions and accomodate various dietary restrictions. Would not hestiate to recommend a wedding at Hudson Prime to anyone.”

“The Views at Mt Fuji was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, Pia was attentive and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. Everyone loved the food (and many thought that our spread at the cocktail hour was actually dinner!). Throughout the event, the staff ensured we were well taken care of, always making sure we had food and drinks at our loveseat table. The best part is that so much of the decoration, cake, and other includes are already taken care of, which let us focus on other things. Very, very happy with Pia and Mt. Fuji!”

“Tarrytown House Estate is a truly beautiful wedding venue and an incredible value for what it offers. The grounds are stunning, especially in the fall, with endless photo opportunities that made our entire weekend feel like the Broadway production we planned (Note: our wedding had a light Broadway theme that worked very well at TTHE). From the ceremony to the reception to the afterparty, the property offered a wide range of adaptable spaces, which made it easy to tailor the layout to our vision and comfortably accommodate a large guest list. The food was a standout. It was delicious, abundant, and consistently praised by our guests, both for quality and quantity. Many guests commented that it exceeded their expectations. The venue’s preferred vendor list and Ann’s suggested vendors were also a huge help. It saved us time, reduced stress, and ultimately helped us manage costs without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest highlights was the speakeasy afterparty space, which was a total hit and made the post wedding Pajama party, memorable finale. The venue is also very accessible in terms of planning. We were able to visit often, walk the grounds freely, and truly familiarize ourselves with the property ahead of the big day, which made us feel confident and prepared. The only challenge worth noting is that the hotel room layout can be a bit confusing, and the property is not the most accessible for older guests or those with limited mobility. That said, we forgot to ensure that less mobile guests were given the most accessible room and they do have a golf cart to shuttle guests around. We also cannot say enough good things about Ann, our venue coordinator. She was exceptional from start to finish. Her communication was clear and timely, and it was immediately obvious that she is deeply experienced and knows this venue inside and out. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly personable, and she genuinely made us feel like she was on our team rather than trying to sell us on upgrades we didn’t need. Ann was an invaluable source of insight, advice, and creative problem-solving, and she was always willing to entertain and help execute our more ambitious or unconventional ideas (e.g. a Reindeer Ringbearer). She consistently offered thoughtful, cost-effective guidance that helped us bring our vision to life without unnecessary stress or expense. On the wedding day itself, she was incredibly present, calm, and responsive, handling details seamlessly and making us feel fully supported. At every step, she made us feel like her only and most valued clients. Overall, we would highly recommend Tarrytown House Estate and Ann to any couple looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with excellent food, strong vendor partnerships, and truly outstanding coordination.”

“I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. They will be at your side the entire day making sure you don’t have to lift a finger and ensure that your day goes as exactly as planned (and might I say better than you planned it to go). The food was also the most flavorful dishes I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. I hope this review helps other couples decide that The Rockleigh should be where they have their wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and that was simply thanks to the amazing staff and service The Rockleigh provides. “Bear Mountain Inn was the only venue we toured and booked it immediately for our wedding September 2025. Many reasons made us confident in booking BMI, which includes the sentimental value for us and our guests, the stunning Bear Mountain State Park, the gorgeous Lodge. What really sealed the deal was meeting our amazing coordinator Tracey. I'd like to highlight how incredibly passionate and kind Tracey is as a person. She was super reliable for us to reach and transparent in communications. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and honestly miss her presence in our lives. I would visit BMI from time to time prior to the wedding and run into Tracey on the grounds, she would always pause to talk to me and catch up. The day of the Wedding, Tracey was on point! She handled the day so well, we didn't even need a day of coordinator! I don't know how she does it all, but I am eternally grateful she was there through it all for us. Now I would like to move onto the BMI itself! Our rehearsal dinner was in the Merry Go Round, I mean it was such a great way to kick off our Wedding Weekend. So magical and pretty. Also guests got to ride the Merry Go Round, which was a top tier memory of ours. We got married in the Perkins Ballroom & Harriman Ballroom in the Main Lodge. The space is so unique. I would tip upcoming couples to consider lighting options because it really does transform the space into anything you desire. Now the food, one word incredible. Highly suggest visiting their restaurant 1915, the chef and team cater the wedding. I could not be happier with how well it all turned out!”

“We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.”
