Piper & Pine Florals
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Whippleville, NY

I'm the florist and heart behind the designs, creating with flowers for 7 years and running my own business since 2021. My love for florals started long before that-ever since I was young, I've been drawn to the colors, textures and quiet beauty that flowers carry. I'm inspired by rich colors, natural textures and the woodsy, romantic, earthy tones that shape my style. I love creating pieces that reflect each person's unique vision while still bringing my own airy, flowy touch to every arrangement. My goal is always to craft something that feels both beautifully curated and effortlessly organic.

Piper & Pine Florals was a dream to work with for our wedding. They were super easy to communicate with and keep updated on any changes. The quality of their work was stunning - the flowers were local, in season, and so unique. Kaylene was so kind when they delivered the flowers, and they truly added such a special touch to our day. The flowers were everything and more from what I had imagined for our wedding. Kaylene's flower design is incredible, and we were so impressed by the beautiful and thoughtful arrangements she created for us.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Flower Moxie was a great floral vendor. Their wide range of diy tutorials was very helpful, and our florist helped us form a vision for our wedding flowers. We were very happy with how our flowers turned out, and proud we could have a hand in diy-ing this aspect of our wedding.

Heather and Jay were incredible to work with. I truly cannot thank them enough. Heather did full decor for my whole wedding weekend. I had an Indian wedding so there were TONS of design needs (frankly more than I thought), and Heather accommodated every request and was so helpful through all the planning. We would have check-in phone calls, and she would walk us through spreadsheets with every tiny decor detail recorded. She was also very helpful with planning and was upfront about everything, gave us options to work through any budgeting/feasibility concerns, and helped with a lot of that wedding decision fatigue. Her husband Jay was instrumental in some of the more elaborate things we asked for, like balconies draped in greenery and a mandap stage. They did two site visits with us for our peace of mind so we could get every detail hammered out. Heather also made lots of great suggestions when I was out of my depth and coordinated with our venue. On the weekend of, I saw her once or twice but otherwise just trusted her absolutely to execute. And the actual decor! It was BEAUTIFUL. She turned our reception hall and outdoor wedding tent into a lush, colourful flower wonderland. We had a rustic barn onsite, and she draped the roof with poms and disco balls. She also used bright colours and dried flowers to brighten the indoors. Her husband Jay custom built us wooden pools for a Hindi haldi ceremony. Our wedding mandap was covered in beautiful roses, and it was magical to get married under. Each space felt distinct and memorable but all beautiful crafted. I could tell a lot of love and thought went into every part. Do not hesitate to book with Cullen Creations. You are in incredible hands. As a bride, I worried and hoped that my vendors would treat my special day which as much care as I was putting in. With Heather, I never had a doubt. She made all my needs feel heard and ultimately made magic happen.

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

We had the absolute pleasure working with Isabel for our Prospect Park Boathouse wedding. We knew from the start that florals were going to play a big role in our wedding, and we wanted a specific style as well. My planner recommended Isabel and going with her was the best decision. Isabel is incredibly friendly and professional, always available to give feedback and bounce ideas off of. I gave her my inspo board and she really, truly understood my vision. The mood boards she provides also helped me convey the wedding theme with other vendors as well. I'll never forget seeing my dreams come to life in front of my eyes on our wedding day. Seeing her whole team working on making the ceremony arch and aisles ready was incredible. The tablescapes were absolutely insane- everything I could've hoped for and more. I would absolutely recommend Isabel to anyone getting married.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio along the Hudson River where we design with form, texture, and palette in mind, creating florals that feel intentional, dynamic, and unmistakably memorable. When submitting an inquiry, you must include a floral specific budget to connect with us. Thank you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Where to even begin? Dean Street Daisies completely brought our wedding to life. From the subtle details to the breathtaking pieces at our ceremony site, the flowers were everything we could have hoped for and more. When we first started planning our wedding, florals were honestly the part we felt most unsure about. We had seen so many ideas on Pinterest, but none of them felt quite right or like “us.” It wasn’t until we spoke with Karina that the vision for our day really began to take shape. She was kind, curious, and took the time to truly understand our vision and what mattered most to us. Even when we didn’t fully know what we wanted, she asked thoughtful questions and helped us build a plan that felt completely aligned with who we are. We had this fuzzy idea of something eclectic, forest-inspired, colorful, and warm, and Karina helped bring it into focus. She made the process not only easy but genuinely fun and exciting. We looked forward to every call with her. And on our wedding day, we were completely blown away. The flowers were stunning, vibrant, textured, joyful, and grounding all at once. They tied everything together and created a setting that felt truly magical. On top of her artistry, Karina is one of the most organized and communicative people we worked with throughout our planning process. She was always timely, clear, and thoughtful in every interaction. All of our other vendors commented on how amazing she was to work with. She was professional, calm, prepared, and just so easy to collaborate with. And honestly, she is such a fun, uplifting presence. That made a huge difference and helped everything run smoothly. If you are lucky enough to work with Karina and Dean Street Daisies, take it. She brings not only incredible creative and artistic talent, but also a heart and presence that made our day feel authentically us. We are so grateful.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Abby and Florio Flowers! Abby and her team created the most beautiful florals for our wedding in Westhampton Beach, they truly made the day feel like everything I had dreamed of on my pinterst board for the last 10 years. Walking into our ceremony and seeing the baskets full of fully blooming hydrangeas was such a special moment. She took my vision of a coastal elegant hamptons wedding and brought it to life! She went above and beyond for our sweetheart table and centerpieces. One of my favorite parts was hearing all my guests tell us how gorgeous the flowers were all night long. From the beginnning, they were so kind, responsive and easy to communicate with. Abby made the planning process feel seamless, personal and I felt confident that everything was in great hands. They even traveled from Massachusetts to Long Island for our wedding. Im so grateful to Florio Flowers for helping make one of the most important days of our lives so beautiful and memorable. From the very beginning, she was incredibly accommodating, always making time for meetings whenever we needed to discuss details or get her expert input. She took the time to really understand our vision and brought it to life in the most beautiful way.
