Hi, I’m Camille Carter — owner and lead planner of Cherry on Top! My journey began in catering and hospitality and those experiences taught me the beauty of creativity, precision, organization, hospitality and care — qualities that now define my approach to wedding planning every single day and help me to assist couple's in saying, "I Do!" Helping couples create meaningful, fun-filled celebrations is not just what I do — it’s what I love most. To inspire, create and dream with couples about a day that will live with them forever is where I thrive and what brings me joy. You and your wedding matter to me, so let's plan it together!

My over a decade of experience in weddings and events - cooking, catering, coordinating and planning - have left me well versed in every arena of the wedding day itself. I have a depth of knowledge that I can't wait to share with you as we plan your wedding day.

    Amazing wedding planner

    Working with Camille Carter and Cherry on Top Creative Planning was a great experience.. From our first conversation, she brought a calm and organized approach that made the whole planning process feel manageable. Camille was detail-oriented in every aspect—nothing fell through the cracks—and her creative ideas helped make our wedding weekend an absolutely beautiful and joyous event. Beyond the planning itself, having her at our wedding weekend was genuinely fun; she was chill, supportive, and stayed on top of everything so we could actually enjoy ourselves. We'd highly recommend Camille and her team to any couple looking for a planner. She is top notch and we are so grateful to her.

    Amazing Wedding Coordinator

    Camille and the Cherry on Top Creative Planning team made our wedding day stress-free from start to finish. They were always quick to respond to our questions and genuinely excited about our vision, which gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, they handled everything behind the scenes—keeping our flowers fresh, managing logistics, and taking care of all the little details we didn't even have to think about. Because they were so on top of things, we got to actually enjoy our celebration instead of worrying about what might go wrong. Their collaborative approach meant we felt like partners in the planning process, not just clients checking items off a list. We can't recommend Camille and her team highly enough.

    10/10! Absolutely loved Camille!

    Camille was absolutely amazing. Throughout the planning process she kept us completely on track timing wise without being pushy. I really never felt that stressed leading up to our big day because we had everything taken care of and I knew I could 100% trust her. She was also amazing at letting us know what we really would want/need on our wedding day vs nice to haves to save us a little money. I also loved that she would tell me her actual opinion when I asked vs just saying "whatever you want!" The relationships she has built in the industry were also invaluable to the coordination of our day. She happened to know/be friends with over half of the vendors we chose prior to bringing her on board, so everything went extra smoothly on the day of. Her bubbly personality and positive attitude kept me calm and excited leading up to our big day and also on the day of. I could write a novel honestly, you can't go wrong with Camille. Love love love her!!

    The Best Money We Spent on Our Wedding

    If you are looking for a wedding planner who will make your vision come to life while keeping every detail perfectly in order, look no further than Camille at Cherry on Top Creative Planning. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Over the six months leading up to our wedding, Camille was nothing short of extraordinary. She listened to every request, honored every vision, and was consistently available to answer our questions and ease our concerns — no matter how big or small. Planning a wedding comes with no shortage of anxious moments, and Camille had a remarkable ability to make us feel calm, heard, and confident every step of the way. One of the things that set Camille apart was how proactively she brought things to our attention that we never would have thought of on our own. Time and time again, she was one step ahead — anticipating needs, flagging details, and offering solutions before we even knew there was a question to ask. Without her, we have no doubt our wedding would have been a very different — and much more stressful — experience. Camille also served as an invaluable bridge between us and our vendors, ensuring everyone was communicating clearly and working toward the same goal. She created a comprehensive timeline for us, our wedding party, and all of our vendors that kept the entire day running seamlessly from start to finish. On the wedding day itself, Camille's dedication was on full display. She was in constant motion from the moment she arrived — setting up our personal signage, arranging our memorial table, organizing guest tags, and attending to every detail with care and precision. She was fast-walking all day, giving absolutely everything she had to make sure our vision came to life exactly as we had imagined. And when the night was over, she went above and beyond by personally gathering all of our belongings and delivering them back to our hotel so we could simply enjoy the end of our wedding night without a worry in the world. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and that is a direct reflection of Camille's dedication, expertise, and genuine care for her clients. She is the kind of wedding planner who treats your day as if it were her own — pouring her heart and energy into every single moment. We are so grateful to have had her by our side.     Camille is the BEST!!

    Choosing Camille was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. As a Type B bride, I needed someone who could keep me on track without making me feel stressed, and Camille did exactly that—she handled all vendor communications, managed the timeline, and gave me confidence in every decision we made together. On our wedding day, she took care of everything behind the scenes, from setting out candles to making sure every detail looked exactly as we imagined. I didn't have to answer a single question or worry about any concerns because she was running around handling it all. Thanks to her attentive and detail-oriented approach, my husband and I actually got to feel like guests and enjoy every moment of our special day. All packages include an assistant so you will plan with Camille directly and have her help, along with a designated assistant, for the majority of your wedding day!
We can help with anything wedding related - bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, next day welcome parties, etc - but we do not offer corporate event planning of any kind
You should expect that I am always there if you need something and that we will have dedicated meetings and check-ins in the months leading up to your wedding! As it gets closer, we will meet and chat a LOT so that I can get the full scope of your vision and create a flawless timeline for you.
We only do one wedding per day and no more than 2 weddings per weekend - but generally only when they fall on Friday and Sunday of that week. During your wedding day, you and your guests have our full attention.
