Emily is truly an incredible planner to work alongside. Her communication is prompt and thoughtful, and she’s always quick to get clear answers to any questions that come up. I never have to wonder what’s happening with an event — everything feels organized and intentional. Her design style is completely one-of-a-kind; she’s endlessly creative and genuinely collaborative, always trusting and encouraging her vendors’ creative freedom.

Emily Berg was extraordinary at every stage of planning and coordinating our wedding. We truly could not recommend her more highly! My partner and I had been together for many years before getting married, and we came into wedding planning with some reservations about the shape traditional weddings tend to take. There were traditions we knew we wanted to leave out, but we also had no interest in replacing them with things that felt invented or performative. We wanted the day to feel timeless, sincere, memorable, and unmistakably like us. We also came in with a very specific aesthetic vision, while honestly not being sure whether it was fully possible. We were getting married on a wildflower farm near our home in Ohio, and wanted something colorful, playful, romantic, and a little unusual: a kind of '70s-inspired medieval revival, with abundant wildflowers, ribbons, hanging decor, and a strong sense of place - a little campy and earnest without feeling like a movie set or a Renaissance Festival. We wanted it to be 60s-70s period-inspired without becoming kitschy, visually rich without overpowering the landscape, and personal without losing the gravity of the occasion. We came in with mood boards and strong opinions, but no clue how to build it all into a wedding day. Emily understood it/us completely. The result was remarkably beautiful. Throughout the planning process, Emily was constantly positive, calm, organized, and completely on top of things. She kept us ahead of every decision and deadline, made it extremely clear what we needed to do (or not do), and then handled everything she possibly could herself. That was a tremendous amount of work, and it made the entire process feel remarkably low-stress. Her recommended vendors absolutely killed it, and her team on the wedding day was quick, kind, graceful, and effective. They also made it possible for our friends and family to simply enjoy the day rather than being pulled into logistics or problem-solving. On the day of, Emily was relaxed and in control. We never felt like we were being managed, nor did we feel like we needed to manage anything. We simply got to experience our wedding, which was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives, while she made it all work. In the months since, our friends and family have continued telling us how special the wedding was and how much they loved it. We also find ourselves constantly thinking about the day, remembering moments and wishing we could do it all again. Hiring Emily was some of the best money we have ever spent. Frankly, I would say that if she had cost five times as much. She helped us create a wedding that felt completely personal and a little unconventional without ever losing the warmth, sincerity, or sense of occasion that made it meaningful. We are so, so proud. I cannot imagine having done this with anyone else. Emily, her team, and the vendors she recommends are all phenomenal.
