    Highly Recommend Tiny Laser!

We cannot recommend Meg Shorette and the Tiny Laser team highly enough! Meg served as our day-of wedding coordinator, and we are incredibly thankful that we had her and her team in our corner. From the start, Meg and her team were extremely responsive, incredibly hardworking, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the day runs smoothly. Meg has strong relationships with vendors throughout the Portland, Maine area, which she leverages to make sure couples can relax, enjoy their special day, and focus on making memories rather than worrying about the logistics. She is constantly looking for the little things she can do behind the scenes to make everything run as seamlessly as possible. What truly demonstrated how exceptional Meg is was how she handled an incredibly stressful situation on our wedding day: our photographer did not show up. In what could have been a devastating situation, Meg immediately sprang into action and reached out to a friend who is a photographer. She managed to get a replacement photographer to our wedding within the hour, helping us preserve the memories of a day we had spent so much time planning. This was nothing short of an incredible feat, and it speaks volumes about Meg’s resourcefulness, professionalism, and dedication to her couples. She went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a day-of coordinator, and we will always be grateful for the way she stepped up when we needed her most. On top of all of this, Tiny Laser’s team works incredibly hard and is priced very competitively, making their services an outstanding value. If you are planning a wedding in Maine, particularly in the Portland area, and are looking for a day-of coordinator you can trust to go above and beyond, do yourself a favor and hire Tiny Laser. We would recommend Meg and her team without hesitation! Thank you, Meg, for everything you did to help make our wedding day special. We are so grateful to have had you there!

    Tiny Laser is the best

Working with Tiny Laser Maine was such a breath of fresh air from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted and didn't push their own ideas on us, which made the whole planning process feel collaborative and stress-free. Their communication was quick and clear—we always knew what was happening and when, without any confusion or back-and-forth emails. The team showed up as hardworking, kind people who genuinely cared about making our day special. We could feel their passion in every detail they handled, and it made such a difference knowing they were invested in our wedding just as much as we were. We'd recommend Tiny Laser Maine to any couple looking for planners who actually listen and deliver.

    The Best Wedding Planning/Coordinating Team!

We mad Meg and the Tiny Laser team as our day of coordinators. When Meg and her team showed up the day of the wedding, I felt all the stress leave my body. Meg and her team coordinated, food, music, photography and the flow of the whole day/evening. I mean it when we say we couldn’t have done it without them!

    09-04-2026 Wedding: Somerville, MA

It was an absolute pleasure having the Tiny Laser team onboard to help us navigate the final month leading up to our wedding day and on the big day itself, ESPECIALLY since we were planning a destination/homecoming wedding just outside of Boston while residing as Seattle transplants on the other coast. From the day they went active, Meg was in contact and on top of everything that we hadn’t yet thought through: sharing documents/worksheets for us to fill out to address any necessary decor needs we hadn’t considered, floor plans, music cues, vendor contacts and schedules…all of the things that went beyond us just booking the vendors months in advance. It was a huge difference-maker in ensuring that we still had ample time to think, shop for, and coordinate on any outstanding logistics versus having to stress and scramble for them on our wedding week. They also kept in steady contact on a weekly basis to gauge any concerns or questions we had during the final planning stages and made sure to reach out to our vendors well in advance so the bride and I could shift our focus more towards savoring and celebrating our special day. Even in the midst of so many balls being juggled on the morning of our wedding day, Meg, Colleen, and Alana showed up on time to start setup and make certain the space would be prepped and ready for our guests several hours later. There was a time when I turned to my wife as we were first unwrapping decor and we mutually agreed “thank GOD we hired this team to help us out”. We don't know what we would've done otherwise. They kept our heads above water and the preparations moving right along while navigating any sudden or last-minute vendor and venue hurdles with ease. It really helped keep our mindset less on the technicalities that were beyond our control and more focused on actually enjoying the ceremony and reception with our friends and family. They would even check in with us individually throughout the day leading up to the procession to make sure we weren’t feeling any anxiety about anything beyond saying our vows to one another, and were so friendly about keeping us hydrated and fed throughout the night with everything going on. With how much money and time that initially went into planning our wedding day more than a year in advance, we of course wanted our efforts to be well worth the time and labor, and the Tiny Laser team really brought everything together in the final stretch and executed such a wonderful and entertaining night for us and every one of our guests. For anyone considering Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts for their destination, we cannot recommend this group of coordinators and their services enough to safeguard and pull off your wedding day!

Hiring Tiny Laser was one of our BEST decisions!

Working with Julianne at Tiny Laser Maine was honestly the best 2,000 we spent on our wedding. We were hesitant about hiring a day-of coordinator since our venue had staff, but we were completely wrong about that. When Julianne came on a month before the wedding, she got us focused and organized, took things off our plate, and checked in with all our vendors. On our wedding day, she was irreplaceable—she told us where to be and when, connected with everyone important to make sure they knew the plan, and handled all the tasks so we got to feel like guests, rather than hosts, and enjoy our day. Her communication was crystal clear and organized throughout the whole process. When we couldn't reach vendors to finalize details, she got responses within a day. Hire these guys.

The simple answer is that we don’t know. What we do know is that hiring a wedding coordinator is a smart way to relieve the pressure from yourself and your partner (and immediate family who may feel they need to step in) on a day that can already seem like it’s going by way too fast. Coordinators handle those intricate day-of details but also stay on top of all the things that you wouldn't necessarily think about while also ensuring that all the big details you have planned for do happen. While it may seem like a simple task, you’ll be thankful while your wedding is running smoothly and you’re enjoying every hiccup-free second of it!
While we believe our packages are priced well, we understand that everyone’s budget is different. It never hurts to reach out!
We do, and we love it. Some travel rates + loding may apply for events more than an hour from your coordinators home base. Please reach out and tell us about your plans!
We require a 20% non-refundable deposit for all booked services. A signed agreement and deposit are needed to begin services. While we do not refund deposits, your deposit is date transferable if our schedule allows it.
We do! And we love sharing it with our clients. Choosing the right vendors for your day is a big decision and one that can cause tension and stress if not thought through carefully. Our list of favorites includes vendors of all different price points, vibes and offerings.
Our base package includes up to 7 hours of coordination (transportation time not included). Additional hours and services can be added to any package.
Not at all. The main differences are the duration of your time together and involvement. Wedding planners typically join your planning team in the very early days of planning while coordinators only step in a month or so out to wrangle the details, set the itinerary and coordinate with your vendors and venue for a seemless wedding day. Wedding planners are also more shot-callers when it comes to decision making. While our coordinators have gained many opinions through experience that we’re happy to share, we’ll defer to your vision first and foremost. We’ll make sure your plans are carried out the way you've envisioned them.
