I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "everything but the venue" full service planning. We get involved after you've found your venue. Then we help find the vendors and keep you on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a individual consulting session starting at $200 - a one-time 90-minute conversation about your wedding with no additional commitment to services.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in eight weeks prior to your wedding day, which includes two timeline review consulting sessions, timeline and floor plan creation and management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

    Claire / Wedwell is Amazing!

    Claire jumped into our planning process three months before the wedding when our original planner was suddenly unavailable, and she truly saved the day!! I don’t know what we would’ve done without her. She was so calm, organized, experienced and pleasant to work with. She is relentlessly detail oriented, can see around corners, and helped us feel as prepared as possible for the big day. She seamlessly guided us through every planning challenge leading up to the wedding, and she was such a rockstar on the day, from coordinating all the logistics in the morning to holding up a flashlight as we did some emergency repairs on my wedding dress at 11 pm. With Claire handling everything, we felt like we were really able to spend the entire day with our friends and families soaking up all the joy and fun. We loved every single minute of our wedding day. Many people told us after the wedding how wonderful and beautiful the whole weekend was, and we know we have Claire to thank. Planning a wedding involves so many little decisions and you’re constantly wondering whether you’re making the right one. But from the moment we met Claire, we never doubted that we had made the right decision. We would recommend her to anyone. Truly a lifesaver and just lovely to work with from beginning to end!

    If You Haven't Found a Planner Yet, Hire Claire!

    Claire was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our day so special! We were lost before Claire came and shaped up our planning. She is very professional, hands on, communicates very well, and kept all of our timelines, contracts, budget, vendor list, and payment deadlines organized.     Claire is the planner you want by your side!!

    Hiring Claire as our coordinator was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. We got married at Rule of Thirds, and one of the biggest reasons our wedding day felt so effortless was because of Claire. From our very first conversations, it was obvious that she knew the venue inside and out. She understood the layout, flow, timing, and countless small details about the space that we never would have thought to ask about ourselves. Claire was also incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. Whenever questions came up, she was quick to provide thoughtful answers, practical advice, and valuable guidance. Her experience helped us make better decisions throughout the planning process and gave us so much confidence that we were in good hands. One of the things we appreciated most about Claire was how organized she was. Her templates, guides, checklists, and planning resources helped us navigate decisions we didn’t even know we needed to make and refine what we wanted our wedding to feel like. As a couple, we sometimes knew what we liked but struggled to fully articulate how we wanted everything to come together, and Claire became an invaluable sounding board throughout that process. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and shared both personal and professional perspectives that helped us gain clarity and confidence in our decisions. What impressed us most was her ability to translate those conversations into reality. Looking back on our wedding day, it honestly felt like Claire understood and executed our vision better than we could have articulated it ourselves. On the wedding day itself, Claire was nothing short of amazing. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be completely present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Going into the day, we had mentally prepared ourselves to answer a few last-minute questions or make small decisions on the fly simply because there were still aspects of the wedding that felt difficult for us to fully visualize beforehand. Instead, Claire handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes. Claire worked directly with the venue staff, vendors, family members, and friends to navigate any last minute questions and find solutions without needing to pull us away from the celebration. That level of professionalism, calmness, and problem-solving gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy the day. We cannot recommend Claire highly enough. She exceeded every expectation we had and played an enormous role in making our wedding day feel seamless, joyful, and uniquely ours.     Claire is the best!

    Working with WedWell was such a relief from start to finish.     Claire is amazing!!!

    Claire was everything I could have wanted in a wedding planner and then some! On the business side, she was beyond incredible handling all organization and paperwork with our vendors, helping us prioritize tasks on our tight 3-month timeline, coordinating all venue requirements and timelines, and truly making sure every last detail or scenario was accounted for. On the personal side, Claire could not have been kinder, more patient, and a true joy to work with! It speaks for itself that every vendor we reached out to was thrilled to find out Claire was our planner and excited to work with her again. The wedding day could not have gone smoother, and she really was a master at herding cats (aka our families) to ensure everyone knew where to be and when. We work on 15-20 bespoke weddings per year with no more than one per weekend. This allows us to give each couple our full attention and efforts to make their dream day come to life!
We typically work in the NYC and Hudson Valley areas. We're not limited though, we've planned weddings from Puerto Rico to the south of France, from Jackson Hole to New Orleans. We love exploring and planning in new places.
