I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "everything but the venue" full service planning. We get involved after you've found your venue. Then we help find the vendors and keep you on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a individual consulting session starting at $200 - a one-time 90-minute conversation about your wedding with no additional commitment to services.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in eight weeks prior to your wedding day, which includes two timeline review consulting sessions, timeline and floor plan creation and management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

    WedWell is the very best!

    We cannot recommend WedWell enough! Claire and her assistant were an absolute dream to work with and played such a huge role in making our wedding day perfect. As our full-service planner, Claire helped with everything from design and logistics to vendor selection, timeline planning, and day-of coordination. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer questions, and a wonderful source of emotional support throughout the process. On the wedding day, she handled several unexpected snafus with such grace and professionalism that we didn’t even find out about some of them until afterward! She also navigated our family dynamics with so much tact, warmth, and care. Everything felt seamless, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy our day knowing we were in such amazing hands. Beyond being incredibly talented and organized, Claire is an absolute sweetheart and a genuine joy to work with. We are so grateful for everything she and her team did and couldn’t imagine having had a better planner. Hiring WedWell was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!!

    Claire made our NYC wedding a breeze!

    Claire was an absolute Godsend for our wedding! I knew she was the right planner for us when I saw how extensive her spreadsheets and systems were, and on our intake call when she said she's trained in counseling. I knew then we'd be in extremely capable hands to bring our New York City wedding to life, and we were. Claire was the first vendor we hired, and her Full-Service Planning meant she guided us through every decision, and had the best recommendations for not only vendors but ways to make the whole day feel like *us*. I also appreciated times when we had decision fatigue and I just asked Claire to make a call. Her choices were perfect! When a Nor'easter blew through the city for our wedding weekend, we already had plans and subplans Claire had prepared to ensure our day wasn't compromised in the least. Her attention to detail meant that on the day itself, I could turn off my planning brain and trust that she had everything in hand. Working with Claire meant we truly got to stay in the moment on the day when it mattered the most. And then the next morning, she'd already created a highlight reel to relive every beautiful moment! We are so grateful!

    Guests at our own wedding

    Working with WedWell was a game-changer for our wedding day. Claire kept us in the loop from start to finish, making sure we understood exactly how everything would unfold and always responded quickly when we had questions and kept us on track when we needed to make decisions. She really listened to what we wanted and helped us stay on track so we didn't feel overwhelmed by choices. On the day of, Claire was behind the scenes working hard while we actually got to relax and soak it all in. Her organized approach and tasteful eye made everything feel polished without being stuffy. We'd absolutely recommend WedWell!!

    Claire / Wedwell is Amazing!

    Claire jumped into our planning process three months before the wedding when our original planner was suddenly unavailable, and she truly saved the day!! I don’t know what we would’ve done without her. She was so calm, organized, experienced and pleasant to work with. She is relentlessly detail oriented, can see around corners, and helped us feel as prepared as possible for the big day. She seamlessly guided us through every planning challenge leading up to the wedding, and she was such a rockstar on the day, from coordinating all the logistics in the morning to holding up a flashlight as we did some emergency repairs on my wedding dress at 11 pm. With Claire handling everything, we felt like we were really able to spend the entire day with our friends and families soaking up all the joy and fun. We loved every single minute of our wedding day. Many people told us after the wedding how wonderful and beautiful the whole weekend was, and we know we have Claire to thank. Planning a wedding involves so many little decisions and you’re constantly wondering whether you’re making the right one. But from the moment we met Claire, we never doubted that we had made the right decision. We would recommend her to anyone. Truly a lifesaver and just lovely to work with from beginning to end!

    If You Haven't Found a Planner Yet, Hire Claire!

    Claire was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our day so special! We were lost before Claire came and shaped up our planning. She is very professional, hands on, communicates very well, and kept all of our timelines, contracts, budget, vendor list, and payment deadlines organized. We are so appreciative of everything Claire has done for us. We were so happy with our wedding, it was so much more than we expected. Thank you Claire!!

We work on 15-20 bespoke weddings per year with no more than one per weekend. This allows us to give each couple our full attention and efforts to make their dream day come to life!
We typically work in the NYC and Hudson Valley areas. We're not limited though, we've planned weddings from Puerto Rico to the south of France, from Jackson Hole to New Orleans. We love exploring and planning in new places.
