About this venue

This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. Amazing experience!
e had our wedding here in August 2026 and had a phenomenal experience. Alison and Sarah were super supportive throughout the planning process and were very rapid and informative with all their communication. We also hired the without a hitch services that they offer which were phenomenal. Alison was our day of coordinator and we could not have had the spectacular wedding that we did without her help. The venue was gorgeous and they did a great job setting up all of our homemade decorations and getting everything just right. The add-ons they offer such as the lights in the greenery were also well worth it. We would highly recommend Olio to any couple who wants a venue that has flexibility, but also a lot of character. Not to mention a superstar staff! We are so grateful we went with Olio!

Build the wedding of your dreams!
From the moment we toured Olio, we knew it was the right fit. It started with Sarah’s great communication, which continued throughout the whole process! While touring, so many other places started to look the same and gave us minimal opportunities to make the experience really “us”. You truly have control to make it the wedding of your dreams down to the last detail! For someone like me at first honestly that seemed a little overwhelming. But one of the best parts of Olio is the amazing team of vendors that work with them. You can pick the vendors that feel right, while knowing everyone on the list has the experience in the space to execute your ideas successfully. And if you don’t have ideas (like me) they’ll help you with great suggestions! Everyone we worked with was so supportive. It was absolute perfection.

Incredible venue that exceeded expectations
I’m so glad we chose Olio for our April wedding. We were looking for a unique venue that offered flexibility with catering, and Olio was exactly what we had in mind. We had several venues we wanted to tour, but because we started our search in January, it was surprisingly difficult to get in touch with people. Sarah, on the other hand, responded to my inquiry the very same day, and we had a tour scheduled within a few days. The moment we walked upstairs, we were in awe of the beautiful open space, gorgeous hardwood floors, and exposed concrete walls. It was exactly the aesthetic we had envisioned. I remember thinking, “It has to be here,” and we reserved our date that same day. Throughout the planning process, Sarah was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Whenever I had a question, she got back to me quickly and always made the process feel seamless. On our wedding day, I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked. The space is stunning on its own, but it truly came to life with the lighting, décor, and all of our personal touches. We received so many compliments from guests about how unique the venue was, and several people told us they had never been to a wedding quite like ours. If you’re looking for a venue with character, flexibility, and an amazing team behind it, we can’t recommend Olio highly enough.

This is the place!
Getting married at Olio was one of the best choices we made. It’s truly one of the most unique venues out there because you can transform the entire space to make it completely your own. Even though they host events every weekend, nothing ever feels “cookie-cutter.” The room becomes whatever you dream it to be — and that’s something you just don’t find anywhere else. Sarah and her team were incredible from start to finish. From the moment we requested a tour to a month after the wedding, their communication never stopped. They made us feel like family throughout the entire process. They were always there to answer my wild questions, guide me when my ideas needed reigning in, and support every detail with patience and care. Our guests loved the space and could not stop raving about it. Everyone kept saying how “us” it felt — which is exactly what we wanted. The cement walls paired with the rented disco ball created such a cool, modern, unforgettable moody BUT romantic vibe. The space makes a statement without overshadowing your personal style. Honestly, I wish I had more large parties to plan just so I could spend more time in that room. Olio is a dream venue with a dream team behind it. Highly, highly recommend!

The venue of our dreams!
While dating my now wife, I used to drive past Olio every time I came to Peabody and knew from the start that it would be the home of our future wedding. The time came and we immediately scheduled our tour and fell in love. We knew we needed a special venue since our flower girl is in a wheelchair and Olio shocked us by being not only fully accessible but also so willing to accommodate our needs. Sarah helped us envision the reception and ceremony of our dreams during the walk through and we got straight to work! Olio provided a comprehensive vendor list but also allowed us the ability to bring in a few personal vendors as well making the process simple and also very customizable. Through Sarah we learned about her day of coordination service, Without a Hitch, and they truly lived up to their name! Ashley was an absolute icon and kept us on track through out the planning process and then made the day of entirely effortless for my wife and I. Our families can not speak more highly of the natural beauty of the space and also the amazing team. We can’t recommend Olio highly enough and can’t wait to spread the word about this amazingly LGBTQ and disability friendly venue.
