Unique, secluded outdoor space decorated with greenery, cobblestone and romantic lighting. A true oasis in the busy city.
Our bar garden is available for private events from Spring to Fall. Our verdant space offers a charming backdrop to host all kinds of celebrations, from engagement parties to private weddings. With the reclaimed city cobblestones, manicured foliage, and retractable roof and walls, the Bar Garden is one of the most stunning and intimate outdoor party venues of New York, rain or shine.

The Oak Room
Our charming space withe private cocktail bar. Large glass windows overlooking our bar garden.
The Oak Room is our most popular option for hosting medium-sized events. The charming room features its own private cocktail bar, eleven-foot ceilings and large glass doors overlooking our beer garden.

The Snug is the ideal setting for small gatherings. Enclosed with one continuous cushioned bench, yet still open to the bustle of The Bonnie, this intimate space can accommodate up to 18 guests for private dinner parties and up to 24 for more casual mingle-friendly events.

Astoria's Littlest Pub is perfect for your cozy, intimate celebrations!
Directly next door to The Bonnie we opened a private event space called Charlie's Bar. With a booking of Charlie's you will have your own bartender, the ability to play your own music, and both an indoor (air-conditioned/heated) and outdoor area for your guests to enjoy. Charlie's Bar is not included in a full buyout of The Bonnie.

Best wedding I've ever been to
We're so glad we chose The Bonnie for our wedding. Living in the city we don't get to host people often and were looking for a venue with a warm and personal vibe, elevated without being too formal - we were so lucky The Bonnie is right in our neighborhood! Their event manager Tali is very flexible, calm, and easy to communicate with. She and the whole staff were amazing throughout the night, resetting the ceremony space into dinner space seamlessly and navigating around an enthusiastic dance floor late into the night. Not a glass was broken! They also let us use the bar TVs to share a slideshow and some videos which were a big hit with guests and made the whole event feel so personal. We booked the back garden, oak room, and snug area and had around 105 people. This was a good number for the space (max capacity was 120 which I'm glad we did not hit). We got lucky with the weather for mid August and it was low 80s during the day of our wedding. I was nervous about the heat in the garden but it was comfortable. I was also a bit nervous about the dance floor being cobblestone but it was perfectly fine and didn't stop anybody of any age! If you have eaten here you know the food and drinks are great. We particularly appreciated the ease of accommodating dietary restrictions. Their wedding menu has a nice selection of options and their executive chef Nick also customized a bit beyond that, offering us a gluten free dessert. Our one vegan guest got a vegan pastrami sandwich which was a hit! There was also more food at cocktail hour than I expected, with a couple people asking us if it was the dinner. This will sound weird but I was surprised how much fun I had. So thankful to everyone at The Bonnie for being so on top of everything and letting us enjoy the day!

Absolutely perfect wedding at The Bonnie
Choosing The Bonnie as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. We only had 60 people and the space was absolutely perfect for that size - we had the outdoor space in the back and the indoor bar directly inside. The coordinator, Tali, is the best you’ll ever get. She is so helpful, proactive, responsive, kind, and resourceful. She truly made everything we wanted to happen, happen without missing a beat. The food was also amazing and everyone commented on how good it was. The Bonnie truly put on the wedding of our dreams and we could not be more grateful!

Exceeded our every expectation!!!
The Bonnie staff, in particular their exception events coordinator Tali, made our dream wedding come to life. Their expertise, dedication, communication and support throughout the entire wedding process felt like a Godsend. We were blown away by how seamlessly everything came together. They ensured that every aspect of the evening ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on our guests and each other. We frequent the Bonnie for dinners and brunches and when we first laid eyes on their beautiful enclosed garden - we knew it was the perfect spot for our wedding. The food is UNREAL. Truly the best food in Queens. Our guests were floored by the menu options and it was the most authentic and intimate vibe. We are over the moon & as soon as we get photos back - I will happily share them to demonstrate how beautifully decorated the space was!!! If you're looking for a venue please look no further -- the Bonnie has it all. Thank you so much to everyone there. It really was the absolute best.
