About this venue

The Grand Lady is a family-run wedding venue on 20 acres of oak trees in Manor, about 25 minutes east of downtown Austin. You get four settings in one place: a restored 1881 mansion for getting ready, a modern 3,400 sq ft climate-controlled reception hall, a half-acre flower farm with a 60-foot pergola for garden ceremonies, and a ceremony lawn in the oak grove with courtyards for cocktail hour. We host up to 250 guests, the whole property is yours, and weekend rentals include 14 hours (weekdays, 12). Tables and chairs are included, and the hall and covered breezeway give you a real rain plan. Venue rental runs $4,000 to $14,500 by day and season (taxes and fees not included). Ask about our all-inclusive package (availability varies by date). Peak Beverage is our licensed bar partner, and you choose from our approved full-service caterers. Our in-house floral studio adds flowers grown just for you in our own garden, and booking flowers with us takes $500 off your venue rental.

    The wedding of our dreams!

The Grand Lady is an absolute DREAM venue! We got married on September 6, 2026, and truly could not have envisioned a more perfect day. It was the first venue we toured, and we immediately fell in love with the historic charm of the mansion, its carefully curated spaces, the breathtaking garden, and the modern reception hall. The mansion was perfect for getting ready the morning of our wedding. It has a stunning bridal suite, a kitchen made for breakfast and mimosas, and a spacious hangout area for the guys, with plenty of room for our large wedding party and family. Having so many spaces on one property made the whole day feel seamless, with different options and backdrops for getting ready, photos, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We adored our photos in the garden and had a blast dancing the night away. So many of our guests have raved about how gorgeous everything was! The venue provided tables and chairs for our 125 guests at both the ceremony and reception, and offers additional high-quality rentals you can add on. Their onsite floral team is also fabulous to work with and beyond talented. They brought our floral vision to life perfectly. For guests, the venue is less than 25 minutes from downtown Austin. We coordinated shuttles for those staying downtown, and there was plenty of parking for anyone who wanted to drive. Most of all, the team was incredible. From our first tour through our wedding day, they were friendly, communicative, and genuinely kind. They shared detailed information and vendor recommendations upfront, which made our planning process so much smoother, and they were always ready to help with any questions. It was the best day of our lives, and we couldn't be happier that we chose The Grand Lady!

Christina, the mimosas-in-the-mansion-kitchen detail made my whole morning. Thank you for writing this! Hosting your September wedding was a joy, and we're so glad the garden photos and the dance floor lived up to the dream. Thank you for trusting us with the best day of your lives (no pressure). Come back and visit the garden anytime. Katie West and Sean Kane

Can’t recommend The Grand Lady enough!

From our first conversation with The Grand Lady, we knew we had found the right venue. Their team communicated with us in a way that was straightforward and easy to follow, which made the entire planning process feel manageable. They handled all the details starting 30 days before our wedding, so we never had to wonder what would happen next. The space itself felt like home the moment we walked in—beautiful and open with everything we needed to pull off our dream day. The large kitchen made storing food and beverages simple, and their wonderful staff took so much of the stress off our shoulders. We can't thank The Grand Lady enough for making our wedding day so easy and special.

Addison, "felt like home the moment we walked in" is exactly what we hope every couple feels. Thank you! We're so happy the planning felt easy and that our team could take some of the stress off your plate. Congratulations to you both! Katie West and Sean Kane

    Stunning Venue!

We got married at the Grand Lady in late March 2026. It was the only venue we toured, but it was exactly what we were looking for, so we booked our date within a couple days of our tour. We loved the architecture of the mansion with the stained glass throughout and especially the green bathroom upstairs. The bridal suite is bright with tons of natural light, and the downstairs is perfectly moody. The house has so much character in every detail and has its own presence and personality. The reception hall is a perfect blank canvas with a modern feel that we could make our own. We loved the large windows at the back with a view into the trees. Our absolute favorite part, however, was the flower farm behind the buildings. It is a bit of a walk back there (and slightly treacherous in heels and a giant dress), but the walk is so worth it. By late March, the flower farm was full of brightly colored flowers, and we did our first look and most of our photos with family and the wedding party back there. We went with the on-site floral team who were an absolute joy to work with. Kaitlyn helped bring our vision of a brightly colored Texas wildflower theme to life. She used a wide variety of farmed flowers to recreate the colorful vibe and uniqueness that goes along with the (somewhat odd) Texas wildflowers. The Grand Lady has a list of required vendors. For the caterer and the wedding planner, it was required to choose from their list. Most of the vendors we worked with were from their recommendations and were great. The one issue we had was that some of their policies changed and we weren’t notified. We booked the venue 16 months ahead of time, and over that period, a few of the policies and vendors changed. For example, the required Bar & Bev provider changed at some point, but we didn’t realize until about a month and a half before the wedding. At this point, we had already put down a deposit and chosen a signature cocktail. We weren’t notified directly about the vendor change, but figured it out when we were trying to contact the old vendor. In the future, I hope the Grand Lady notifies anyone who has already booked a date whenever policies change (especially if it was in the signed contract). Despite a couple of road bumps, the Grand Lady was an awesome venue. It’s absolutely stunning with a specific charm. It beautifully changes with the season, but truly shines in the Spring. Our guests loved walking back to the flower farm and taking pictures during the cocktail hour, and we got so many comments about how much they loved the venue. It is a beautiful venue that helped our wedding feel so special.

Erin, thank you for such a thoughtful review, and for the shout-out to the green bathroom upstairs. It's a fan favorite. We're so glad the flower farm was full of color for your first look, and that Kaitlyn brought your Texas wildflower vision to life. (And yes, that walk in a giant dress is a commitment. Worth it, though.) You're right about the bar change. You should have heard it from us directly, not found out by calling the old vendor. I'm sorry. Thank you for telling us. It makes us better. Ideal venue

The Grand Lady was a wonderful wedding venue for us. From the moment we started planning, the staff was incredibly professional, thorough and detailed in their communication, making the process seamless. The venue itself was beautiful, with a spacious and comfortable layout that blended a clean, modern aesthetic with lovely historic character. We and our guests loved exploring the lush garden and taking photos in the many picturesque areas around the property. The on-site rental options were also a huge plus, and the house our family to get ready and relax in style. Overall, The Grand Lady provided an exceptional value and contributed greatly to making our wedding day perfect.

    Katie West•Oct 16, 2026

Liz, thank you! We love hearing that the mix of historic and modern worked for you, and that your family got to relax in style in the mansion. Thank you for celebrating with us! Katie West and Sean Kane

    Gorgeous Venue worth every penny

The Grand Lady is an absolutely stunning venue. Our guests raved about how beautiful the house, the grounds, and the reception hall were. It is a well oiled machine, they know what they are doing at the grand lady. I felt comfortable entrusting them to run our wedding day smoothly and effortlessly. You get the quality that you pay for in this venue. Cannot recommend it enough!

    Katie West•Oct 16, 2026

Nicole, "a well-oiled machine" might be the nicest thing anyone has said about our team. They're going to be insufferable now. Thank you for trusting us with your day. We're so glad your guests loved it as much as we loved hosting you. Katie West and Sean Kane
