CityLux is a boutique studio based in the Boston area. We started out as photographers and have recently expanded our services, offering video, and now wedding planning services. We are a small dedicated team of professionals. Our couples are down to earth types, who appreciate attention to detail, and laid back luxury.

I was hesitant to have a large wedding because of all of the planning that it entails, but hiring CityLux to help was hands down the best vendor choice we made. Our planning timeline was put together, and we’re were told what to focus on and when, which was a huge help with juggling life and work outside of wedding planning. Allie helped pull the vision out of my head and put it all together in a way I didn’t even know was possible to achieve! The actual wedding weekend was executed flawlessly, and we’ve had multiple guests tell us that the flow of the wedding day and entire weekend was so seamless. Some even said they had more fun at our wedding than their own kids! Our guests were wowed by the entire thing. You often hear people say their wedding day flies by, but my husband and I both look back on the weekend and know that we were entirely present and able to soak in each and every moment because of Allie and Sarah. “From the first moment I sent Abby an inquiry and she wrote back so promptly and sweet I just knew she’s who I wanted to go with. I am NOT a planner so without her my wedding would’ve been absolute chaos with no one knowing what to do, I’m honestly not sure how she had everything run so smoothly because I gave her the bare minimum to work with just saying (I don’t know) to half her questions and she always came back with “no problem we can go back to it or I can come up with a plan”.. so basically 95% of the timeline was all of her suggestions and her and I am SO THANKFUL for that because our day was seriously the most magical, amazing, so much love, if there were any mishaps which I’m sure there were .. (I still don’t know.. because ABBY was on top of everything and smiling through it all and always checking in on Nick and I) my vendors LOVED her , our families couldn’t stop talking about her, & we still keep telling people who tell us it was the greatest wedding of all time that we owe so much to Abby.. because we do! SOOOOO if you debating on going with her stop debating and just do it I promise you she will listen to what you want, check in on time always before and during, and if you don’t know what to do like me.. she will help guide you through the process of building your timeline and best day of your life! Your spreadsheets, Excel forms, timelines, and attention to detail immediately showed us that we were dealing with a true professional. But honestly, the best part of having you as our wedding planner was that you took all of the worry away. We went from feeling completely overwhelmed to feeling safe, confident, and taken care of within 24 hours of you coming on board. That feeling is something we will never forget. “Working with Enchanted Events was hands down one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process. We wanted our wedding to be small and simple, and initially thought we might be able to handle it without help. However, as we continued planning and more and more details came up, we decided that at the very least we needed a day-of coordinator. Enter Jordan and the entire Enchanted Events crew - TRUE ANGELS!! From our first conversation with Jordan, we knew we had the right team on our side. What Enchanted Events offers is really so much more than day-of coordination services. As soon as we booked with them, they were available to help us with any questions that we had. They told us that we could CC them on emails with vendors or give them a call if we needed an opinion. We can’t explain what a relief it was to have experts on our side once we booked with Enchanted! They are so well connected in the industry, so organized, and so kind and calming as well. Kristen and Tori were our day-of coordinators and WE CANNOT GIVE THEM ENOUGH PRAISE! Leading up to the wedding, they asked all the right questions to make sure that the big day flowed seamlessly. The part of the wedding that we were most nervous about was “flipping the room” - essentially turning it from a ceremony space into a full dinner/dance floor/event space in under an hour. A few guests looked at the room and said there was no way it could happen that fast. Kristen and Tori delivered in ways that left every guest stunned… the room flip was flawlessly executed and looked absolutely stunning with their guidance and expertise! This was just one of dozens of examples of their impact - from Tori joining us to take photos off site and ensure that we stayed on track with our timeline, to Kristen keeping us calm and present as we prepared to walk down the aisle. Once the day was over, we kept talking about how absolutely NOTHING went wrong on our wedding day. We can’t believe how perfect the day was, and Enchanted Events had a massive impact in making that happen. We cannot recommend working with them enough!!”

“Dana & Nicole were amazing to work with. We used Dana Marine for month of coordination and the only regret I have is not using them for the full package! Having Nicole in my life during the chaos and craziness that entails planning a wedding was an absolute god send. Nicole took charge of all the vendors and made sure everything was going smoothly. So many things happened on the back end that I didnt know about until days after the wedding and Nicole seriously saved the day so many times that I didnt even know about. Professional but also personable is sometimes hard to find in a vendor this is not the case with Nicole and Dana. They are both so sweet and also so on it!! “The best decision we made while planning our September 2022 wedding was hiring Ariana and the AMC Weddings team. Her attention to detail, organization, and professionalism throughout the entire wedding planning and designing process was astounding. Ariana was there to make us feel confident in each decision we were making for our wedding day whether the decision big or small. Ariana was our contact person for all of our vendors to alleviate the stress and burden of many, many emails which made the wedding planning process for us that much more enjoyable. Her immaculately-detailed timelines, design plans, itineraries, and expertise were truly unmatched and made our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined. The AMC Weddings Team (thank you also to Pascale, Lauren, and Macey!) blended in during our wedding day so seamlessly. There was even an issue with the person that was supposed to bring our dog Luna to our first look location. We, as the bride and groom, didn’t even realize it was an issue until the following day that Luna was not going to be able to be brought back to our home nearby by the dog company we hired. AMC Weddings didn’t even think twice and drove over 40 minutes one-way to ensure she was brought back safely, without even a hiccup in the day. Our friends and family could not stop telling us how wonderful, professional, and helpful Ariana and her team were throughout the entire day. “How can I even put into words how absolutely incredible Kay and her team are?! My wife and I booked a power planning session with Kay in December 2020, shortly after getting engaged. From just that two hour meeting, we learned more about our budget, priorities, and expectations than we had from years of dreaming of our wedding. Kay was so confident and generous in her knowledge, we clicked immediately and as soon as the call ended, we looked and each other and said: "We HAVE to hire her to plan our wedding." As soon we officially booked with Kay, we jumped into regular meetings, endless email advice, vendor recommendations- the works! She also took over all communication and confirmations the month of our wedding which was an absolute lifesaver. Planning our wedding alongside Kay are memories we will cherish always. She is as kind and easy to work alongside as she is professional and precise. Her attention to detail and dedication to our wedding vision remained steadfast throughout the 15 months of planning. She answered every question, solved every problem, and anticipated every need with what seemed like effortless ease. As for the wedding day, her and her team were invaluable assets. My wife and I did not have to worry about a SINGLE detail all day, because we knew KNE had it all covered. She wore about a million hats that day, from designer to therapist to organizer to dress steamer to I'm sure a million other things we weren't privy to because keeping our energy light and happy was her biggest priority. I could go on forever. My biggest message that I hope is taken away from this review is that wedding planners are not only for the "rich and famous" as the media likes to make it seem. Wedding planners, specifically KNE is an unbelievable investment in your time, happiness, mental load, and more. “I can’t recommend Victoria enough! I reached out to her nearly two years ago with what I thought was a “laundry list” of questions, and I’ll be honest—I was skeptical at first about hiring a wedding planner. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the investment. But Victoria immediately put my worries to rest with her detailed, thoughtful responses. From that very first interaction, I knew she was the right choice. I initially booked her vendor package, where she scheduled and coordinated all of our vendors, but eventually upgraded to include decor and other little details because, honestly, wedding planning can get overwhelming! “Working with Dana and her team at Thyme & Details was such a relief from start to finish. We hired Thyme & Details late in the game for our wedding- about 4 months out when we realized we couldn't pull off the wedding we wanted by ourselves. “Hiring Cassie as our wedding planner was easily one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! Even as a very Type A bride, it was so nice having Cassie alongside us throughout the entire planning process. Having someone handle so much of that behind the scenes was SO helpful, and it was even better knowing we were working with someone who is an expert in the industry!! Cassie is responsive, a problem solver, and so sweet. She made the planning process feel so much less overwhelming. On the actual wedding day, she was just as incredible.
