Our historic farmhouses ​ ​are gorgeously appointed sanctuaries for you and your family, sleeping up to 40 guests. “I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. From Min and Morten, to all the advisors that helped us, to all the staff who worked the venue for set up, the cooks, the servers, the bartenders, and not to mention how insanely good the food was - every single aspect of this place and the people there were truly magnificent. I was excited to marry the love of my life, sure, but after 16 years together I really viewed this as just a big party to celebrate with all the people in our lives. I expected and welcomed that view. To say it exceeded expectations is overwhelmingly unfair - it completely blew my mind how amazing the whole day was, honestly the whole weekend since there was also the rehearsal and breakfast the morning after, and I cannot express how grateful I am for how the whole experience turned out. I know I had loved the venue itself when we first visited, and that I thought the food was absolutely amazing during the food tasting, but it ended up being even more gorgeous on the day and the food for 150 people was still all so delicious that not one guest didn't mention at least one of the apps/ entree throughout the night and following day. One of my brides people who is quite the foodie snob keeps mentioning how juicy the chicken was. Seriously though, the food was just phenomenal. I never like cakes at weddings (they're always beautiful but don't taste good) and had planned on getting cake pops for my wedding, but at the food tasting I was just shocked at how amazing it was that I had to have that cake for the day. I would recommend this venue, and this staff, so whole heartedly. If any of the staff read this review, thank you all for making our special day one that will forever be a heartwarming memory.”

OUR SPACES We offer multiple spaces for your wedding--our bar/restaurant, a rustic barn, old schoolhouse, sprawling green lawns & a beer garden. OUR LOCATION Located right on Main Street—a short walk to the bookstores our town is famous for. Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Planning a wedding that also included accommodations for the weekend came with a lot of moving pieces, but Henrietta was incredibly thorough, organized, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and make sure every detail was covered, which made everything feel as stress-free as possible. The entire team was wonderful to work with, and the food prepared by Matt was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the meals. From the planning process through the wedding weekend itself, everything exceeded our expectations.
