The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

“The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and fit my vision exactly! All of the flowers and decor complemented the venue perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. Kate was great to work with, from the initial communication and planning to making several adjustments to our plan over time to sending a preview of the bouquet. We were also able to visit her studio in person and rent candles which was a huge help. Overall working with Kate was so easy and stress free and she really has a knack for bringing a vision to life! Thank you!”

Willow & Grey
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Serves East Haven, CT

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

“We talked to several florists before finding Willow & Grey, and I knew within the first conversation that Renee was the one for us. Her communication was friendly and efficient—she responded quickly to all our questions and worked with us on every detail. What really stood out was how she added her own creative touches that we didn't even ask for, making our arrangements feel personal and special. The flowers were absolutely stunning and held up so well that I was able to preserve my bouquet the following week, which says a lot about the quality she sources. Renee went above and beyond from start to finish, and we couldn't have asked for a better florist for our wedding day. I'd recommend Willow & Grey to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about making your flowers perfect. (The last photo was my reaction from our dining room reveal. I was blown away)”

“Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!”

Lauren Flanagan Design
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves East Haven, CT

Forever a lover of nature, I draw inspiration from the natural world and am most at peace and at home among the plants and trees. I love spending time outdoors, hiking with my dog, and working in my garden growing food and flowers. I have a life long passion for art and design and have worked as an artist for much of my life. In 2013 I found myself fusing my love for art and flowers when I began working in floral design. I quickly fell in love with the ritual of creating with fresh florals. In the years since, I've had the opportunity to hone my skills and style and provide unique and gorgeous designs for some wonderful couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I don’t even know where to begin—words feel small compared to what Lauren created for our wedding day. From our very first consultation to the final breathtaking reveal, they went above and beyond to turn our vision into pure magic. As a bride, I had ideas, inspiration photos, and a Pinterest board full of hopes—but Lauren brought all of that to life in a way I never imagined possible. Every single bloom, every arrangement, every petal was thoughtfully placed and perfectly chosen. Walking into our ceremony and reception spaces was like stepping into a dream. What truly set them apart was not just her talent (which is unmatched), but their warmth, passion, and attention to detail. Lauren listened—really listened—to what we wanted, and then elevated it in the most elegant and personal way. The bouquet was absolutely stunning (it felt like it belonged in a fairytale), the ceremony florals took our breath away, and the reception flowers had our guests gasping and taking photos all night long. We received so many compliments from family and friends, but more importantly, we felt completely surrounded by beauty, love, and intention in every floral touch. It felt like us—romantic, joyful, and full of heart. To anyone looking for a florist who will not only deliver beautiful flowers but also pour love and soul into your big day—this is your person. We are endlessly grateful and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect floral experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower. The company communication is quick, kind, informative, and they are just all around amazing!”

“First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.”

Raving Flamingo Flowers creates wholly original floralscapes from live, dried, faux, and foraged blooms. Inspired by fine art, wild textures, and the natural world, I think of every floral work as a sculpture, crafted with care to celebrate the love and joy in your heart.

“Working with Raving Flamingo Flowers was such a joy from start to finish. The team was collaborative and responsive throughout the planning process, making it easy to bring our bohemian vision to life. Our dried flower bouquets were absolutely stunning and became a real focal point at the wedding—they set the tone for the whole aesthetic we were going for. What I love most is that I still have my bouquet five years later and display it as art in our home; it's held up beautifully through three cross-country moves and looks just as beautiful as the day we got married. The heirloom quality of their work means my flowers are a keepsake I'll treasure forever. I'd recommend Raving Flamingo Flowers to any couple looking for florists who truly understand their vision and deliver something exceptional.”

“Choosing Eliza and her team at Boom and Bloom was one of the single best decisions we made for our wedding. Florals play such a defining role in shaping an aesthetic, transforming a simple concept into a breathtaking reality, and from the moment we had our first call with Eliza I knew there was no other option. Her warmth, creative vision, and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience an absolute pleasure. Throughout the planning process, Eliza went above and beyond to ensure every detail aligned with our vision. She thoughtfully created, and then refined, our mood board several times, already going above and beyond, checking in with me regularly and making adjustments with incredible care. One of the most meaningful touches was her designing special arrangements to honor both of my grandmothers on our memorial table. That level of sensitivity and intention truly set her apart. Every floral element from the aisle arrangements and ceremony arch to the centerpieces was executed flawlessly. Eliza didn’t just provide florals; she curated an entire aesthetic. She styled our table scapes and incorporated candles and uplighting that matched our dark and moody, romantic vibe to perfection. The results were nothing short of stunning. On the wedding day, Boom and Bloom handled everything seamlessly, from setup to take-down, with the added care of using sustainably sourced and recycled greenery and florals. The overall atmosphere was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and it’s all thanks to Eliza’s artistry, professionalism, and heart. We are endlessly grateful and we truly cannot recommend Boom and Bloom highly enough.”

My name is Lindsay Fondo and I am a floral designer and photographer based in CT, by way of NY. Serving both + NJ. I have a strong appreciation for flowers and photo’s, for their ability to say how we really feel, and how when you look at them you get all of the feel good vibes. I absolutely love working with my clients to bring their vision to life/ help flesh out a vision they didn’t even know was there.

“Lindsay absolutely nailed my wedding flowers and brought my vision to life perfectly. From the very beginning, she really listened to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions that matched my style. Beyond her incredible work, she’s also such a pleasure to work with—friendly, responsive, and so easy to chat with throughout the whole process. I’m so grateful I had her as my florist and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!”
