I grew up in a big family of chefs and grandmas who made every gathering revolve around food, which shaped my love for cooking and hosting. Originally from Michigan, I moved to the Pacific Northwest drawn by its beauty and culture of sustainability. After earning a master’s in environmental sustainability, I rooted myself in Portland and began cooking for friends. What started as small supper clubs grew into creating thoughtful, seasonal meals for micro weddings, private dinners, and weekly meal prep.

Our menu offers a combination of classic Tamale Boy favorites for which we’re known, as well as many creative inspirations from regions throughout Mexico.
