“Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive was the perfect venue for our rustic, barn-themed wedding. The communication with the staff was not the fastest, but they were helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was amazing - the venue was beautiful with a lovely rustic aesthetic, and they had the chairs and tables staged on the day of the wedding, which made the process much easier. However, one downside was that we didn't get the day before the wedding to decorate, so we had to rush to get everything set up on the day of. Overall, we were thrilled with Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning, rustic wedding venue.”

“Empress Estate is an absolutely stunning venue! The ease of not worrying about coordinating so many different vendors since nearly everything is done in house, made it so much easier for my husband and I! We got married Memorial Weekend and the weather was perfect, the flowers were blooming, and the breeze at the top of the mountain was amazing. Kim and Alexandria were absolute angels to work with throughout the whole planning process and day of the wedding! Their expertise was so valuable as someone who has never done or been a part of planning a wedding, my husband and I were so naive and they broke down each and every piece of the day. Lovely people, beautiful place, and a perfect day!”

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and stunning. Our guests were blown away! We had countless praises that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Also, the ease and practicality of the place kept everyone comfortable (plenty of bathrooms, space, and parking, easy to find, etc) these details are easy to overlook but so crucial for an enjoyable event. We cannot recommend City Farm enough and will sing their praises forever! One look at the venue and the beauty will speak for itself, but I can confidently say anyone’s experience booking here will be just as wonderful because of Scott and Casey :)”

“We got married just about a year ago in the old hangar at Pearson and it was perfect! We hired a live jazz band and had the hangar doors open, timing our entry with sunset behind the Fort, and it was everything I wanted. The hangar is already white and made a great blank canvas, and it has those incandescent-look patio lights hanging up inside. We had about 70 people that attended, plus the 25-person big band. The only 2 tricks were that you can't "permanently" attach anything to walls or anything, so we made some weighted window-sill decorations for the windows on the south wall, and we did have to bring our own sound system for speechifying. The only complaints I had were that we had to dispose of our own trash (which was just kind of strange for a venue IMHO since it's such a big park) and that the outside walls were just... filthy with cobwebs, dry grass, etc. so it didn't make a great backdrop for photos. I wanted to enter through the back door, so there's not a lot of photos of outside (we also had photographer issues, but that's a different thing entirely!).”

“The Victorian Belle was everything we dreamed of for our wedding and more. The mansion and gardens are absolutely breathtaking, magical, romantic, and full of flowers. During our ceremony, bunnies even popped out of the hedges to watch, which felt straight out of a fairy tale! The lighting in the reception tent was warm and enchanting, and the whole atmosphere made the day unforgettable. The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. They were kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was stress-free. They set everything up for us, kept us on track with the timeline, and even brought drinks from the bar without us having to ask. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process — Diana, the coordinator, was the friendliest, most helpful person we could have hoped for, always quick to respond and endlessly accommodating. As a bride in a wheelchair, accessibility was a big concern for me, and I can’t say enough about how thoughtful and inclusive they were. They rearranged furniture to ensure ease of movement, set up the bridal suite on the ground floor so I could get ready comfortably, and made every adjustment possible to ensure my day was just as easy and beautiful as it would be for anyone else. That level of care meant so much. The catering, which comes with the venue, was absolutely divine. Guests raved that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The staff let us fully customize the menu, including vegan options for things that weren't listed as vegan, and everything was delicious. They even packed up leftovers for us to take home, which we loved. Flexibility was a huge strength of this venue. They let us customize décor, set up special tables for speakers and a memorial area, and made the whole day feel like it was truly ours. Our guests are still telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a venue that’s gorgeous, affordable, accessible, and filled with caring, professional staff, I can’t recommend the Victorian Belle highly enough. They gave us the wedding of our dreams.”

“Hiring Easton Broad was hands down the best decision we made for our destination wedding! Planning a wedding from another state is no easy fete, but Kelly helped us with so much, we never had to worry about details being missed. We only ever saw the venue twice- first when we toured it and fell in love, and not again until our wedding day, when we fell in love all over again! And the time between, Kelly was so quick to answer all of our questions (and there were tons!); we'd get responses within an hour and sometimes even in the middle of the night. It's very clear that she's passionate about what she does, and has been doing this for a long time. We are so fortunate to have found Easton Broad and it will hold a very special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives. To Kelly and her entire team, thank you so much for caring and making our wedding day even better than we could have ever imagined!”

“My husband and I were married at Amaterra on April 25th, 2026 and the experience was a delight, start to finish. The winery has multiple gorgeous areas that lend themselves well to customization, both indoors and outdoors (which is a must with Oregon's mercurial weather patterns!). Communication was steady and the event planner Katie Carver was a creative mastermind, always taking our ideas and running with them to add a little extra magic. Even the day of the wedding itself, Katie was instrumental in keeping everything running smoothly and improvising as needed. Their kitchen staff is incredible. We had a mixed menu with some Amaterra classic catering options as well as some custom Chinese dishes. The food was so good that multiple of our guests have talked about pining to have another serving, weeks after the fact! Importantly, the pricing is also fair and transparent all throughout the process. Overall, Amaterra will always have a special place in our hearts after taking such good care of us on our big day. We recommend them 1000% to anyone looking for wedding venues in the Portland area!”

About wedding venues in Longview, WA

Washington offers a stunning backdrop for weddings with incredible diversity in settings. You'll find dramatic mountain ceremonies at Crystal Mountain Resort and waterfront celebrations at The Edgewater Hotel where you can literally say "I do" above the waters of Puget Sound. These venues showcase what makes the Pacific Northwest so special for couples looking to create memorable wedding experiences.

What Makes Washington Wedding Venues Uniquely Special?

The Evergreen State delivers venues that work with practically any wedding vision you might have. Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale gives you multiple garden spaces and a covered pavilion that handles Washington's unpredictable weather without sacrificing beauty. The 101 in Seattle lets you bring in your own preferred vendors in a spacious open environment while Sodo Park blends industrial-chic architecture with elegant sophistication. You'll find the perfect balance of practicality and atmosphere no matter what style speaks to you.

How Much Do Washington Wedding Venues Typically Cost?

Wedding venues in Washington average $6,399 which represents about 14% of your total wedding budget. That's actually below the national average of $6,500-$12,000 or 25% of total costs so you're getting better value here than in many other states. Most couples pay between $5,800 on the lower end to around $7,000 for premium locations depending on what features and services you need. For different guest counts you can expect these approximate total wedding budgets: Small weddings with 50 guests run about $20,250 while 100-guest celebrations average $33,177. Medium-sized weddings with 150 guests typically cost $45,331 and 200-guest events reach approximately $56,197. Larger celebrations with 250 guests average $67,063 while truly big weddings with 300 guests generally cost around $77,929. These numbers help you plan realistically based on your guest list size.

Where Can You Find Accessible Venues in Washington State?

Crystal Mountain Resort offers exceptional accessibility with its scenic gondola that takes guests directly to mountaintop ceremony platforms. No hiking required for anyone with mobility considerations. The 101 in Seattle provides full wheelchair accessibility throughout their modern venue while Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale combines accessibility with that weather-adaptable covered pavilion. Your guests will remember these culinary experiences long after the cake is cut.

Can Remote Guests Experience Washington Weddings Beyond Basic Streaming?

IslandWood located just 35 minutes from Seattle offers potential for enhanced remote participation through its environmental education focus and tech capabilities. Liljebeck Farms in Woodinville provides versatile indoor-outdoor settings that support creative virtual elements while The Edgewater Hotel can accommodate interactive components for distant loved ones. You should confirm specific virtual offerings directly with these venues as technology options evolve rapidly. Even guests who can't attend in person can feel genuinely included with the right setup.

What Seasonal Factors Should Influence Your Washington Venue Choice?

August is peak inquiry time for Washington weddings and books up fast. Western Washington venues typically incorporate elegant indoor spaces with seamless transitions to outdoor areas giving you weather flexibility. Eastern Washington benefits from significantly more sunshine days between May-September making outdoor ceremonies more reliable. Mountain venues require snow contingency planning from November-April. The season you choose will dramatically impact both the look and logistics of your celebration.

How Can Washington Venues Balance Beauty with Practical Needs?

When selecting your Washington venue consider both its Instagram-worthy appeal and how it handles the nuts and bolts of your big day. Venues like Crystal Mountain Resort offer experienced on-site wedding teams while others may require more independent planning or outside coordination. The ideal venue combines Washington's natural beauty with practical amenities that support your vision without blowing your budget.
