Fountainhead Floral Design
Rating: 4.9 (54 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Madison, CT
  • Offer

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

“Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! Her communication throughout the process was clear, understanding, and attentive, and she was always quick to respond. The quality of her work was truly professional, and the floral design was exactly what I had envisioned for our special day! She was also incredibly flexible, making last-minute changes to our order the month before the wedding without any issues. The setup and overall design was absolutely beautiful - especially our ceremony arch! I would highly recommend Fountainhead Floral Design to any couple looking for a reliable, talented, and customer-focused wedding florist!”

“Emma at First Blush Floral & Planning was an absolute treasure to work with, and we couldn't recommend her more. As a wedding couple who had to pivot unexpectedly from original vendor and venue plans, the minute I got on a call with Emma, I knew she would be perfect in helping our vision come to life. Cool, calm, collected, organized and knowledgeable, she listened to what we wanted and made it come to life. We felt so reassured that we also added Fist Blush's planning services on to our floral package. It was such peace of mind in those final weeks (and the big day) to know she was behind the scenes of it all. Forever grateful! The pouring rain and day-of chaos stood no chance.”

Willow & Grey
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Serves Madison, CT

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

“We talked to several florists before finding Willow & Grey, and I knew within the first conversation that Renee was the one for us. Her communication was friendly and efficient—she responded quickly to all our questions and worked with us on every detail. What really stood out was how she added her own creative touches that we didn't even ask for, making our arrangements feel personal and special. The flowers were absolutely stunning and held up so well that I was able to preserve my bouquet the following week, which says a lot about the quality she sources. Renee went above and beyond from start to finish, and we couldn't have asked for a better florist for our wedding day. I'd recommend Willow & Grey to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about making your flowers perfect. (The last photo was my reaction from our dining room reveal. I was blown away)”

“Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!”

“Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. It was an experience I will never forget; thank you, Isabelle & the folks who make Fairy Meadow Flowers so special! :') Photo credit: Ken Yotsukura (& family/friends)”

“I ordered the silk magnolia bouquet (Shelbie Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied) and opted for the scent to be added. They arrived and already looked perfect with very minimal fluffing/adjustment. The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Madison, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!”

There’s a reason we’re drawn to flowers. It’s the same reason we’re drawn to the mountains, the sea and everything in between. Hi! I'm Rebecca, owner of Rudbeckia Florals. With a lifelong admiration for nature, Rudbeckia florals is an ode to this. Designs give into the will of each stem and petal to create arrangements lead by shape and texture.

“Working with Rudbeckia Florals was such a blessing from start to finish. Sarah and her team were quick to respond to every question and made me feel like I was in great hands the entire time. I’m a very simple person and I wanted simple arrangements that still would wow people. Rebecca hit that sweet spot on the nose perfectly! The arrangements turned out stunning—classic and elegant. My grandmother gushed about them all night, and our guests kept complimenting the flowers throughout the reception. What really will stay with me was how Rebecca handled a last-minute request; I had forgotten to order flower girl baskets, and she was able to whip them up on the spot using a spare bridesmaid bouquet I had on hand. Her work exceeded what I imagined, and the whole experience felt effortless because of how professional and thoughtful she was. I'd recommend Rudbeckia Florals to anyone planning a wedding! 5 stars because 100 isn’t available!!”

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

“I happened to find Little Blooms on the Instagram page for my wedding venue (White Cliffs in Plymouth, MA) and immediately reached out to Danielle because the florals in the photos I saw were exactly what I was looking for. Not only was Danielle very thorough when asking my likes, dislikes, color schemes I had in mind and the theme of our wedding, but she was also so nice to work with and made the process stress-free and easy for me. She is extremely hardworking and set up the most beautiful arrangements on the gazebo of my wedding ceremony as well as aisle pieces, gorgeous bouquets for my bridesmaids and I, boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, stunning table settings and sweetheart table cascading piece. I told her my vision and she made it come to life more than I could have ever even imagined. Couldn’t recommend Little Blooms more!”

“First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.”

Throughout the entire planning process, her dedication and thoroughness stood out—she listened intently to every detail of our vision and took such thoughtful care in preparing every single element leading up to the big day. When we saw everything come together in person, the execution was nothing short of absolute perfection. My name is Lindsay Fondo and I am a floral designer and photographer based in CT, by way of NY. Serving both + NJ. I have a strong appreciation for flowers and photo’s, for their ability to say how we really feel, and how when you look at them you get all of the feel good vibes. I absolutely love working with my clients to bring their vision to life/ help flesh out a vision they didn’t even know was there.

“Lindsay absolutely nailed my wedding flowers and brought my vision to life perfectly. From the very beginning, she really listened to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions that matched my style. Beyond her incredible work, she’s also such a pleasure to work with—friendly, responsive, and so easy to chat with throughout the whole process. I’m so grateful I had her as my florist and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!”
