From the months of planning to coordinating all the details I didn’t even know needed to be considered, they kept everything moving and somehow made the whole process feel manageable. By the time the wedding weekend arrived, I completely trusted that if something needed to happen, they had it handled. But Joseph and Rob really blew us away by bringing our reception to life. I am NOT a flower person and went into wedding planning without a clear vision for florals or even really knowing how to explain what I wanted. Somehow, they took my scattered thoughts and inspiration and created something more beautiful than I could have imagined on my own. Full transparency - I was hesitant to book a coordinator due to budget being the MAIN factor for our wedding and frankly I didn’t think we could spare the expense. After finding out from our venue that it was a requirement to have a coordinator (turned absolute GODSEND) I found Johanna last June (2025) and from start to finish have been absolutely FLOORED by her dedication, insight, and complete understanding of our needs and wants for the most special day of our lives. Let me just tell you- Johanna will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for you and then some. I was so thankful to have her as an advocate during this process. As someone who considers herself very “Type A” I had no idea how much of a crucial necessity having someone like Johanna would be during this process. The vendor selection is overwhelming to say the least but getting into the nitty gritty of contracts, Plan B scenarios, and just overall comprehension of this business is not something that is talked about enough in this industry. With the guidance and wisdom of Johanna, I know for a fact our experience was as seamless as it was because of her knowledge and diligence. She checked in with me routinely leading up to our wedding year and then on a weekly/daily basis once our wedding year hit. Before booking the remainder of our vendors (which were a lot LOL), I would make sure to send her the contracts I received to make sure everything looked okay and with her guidance we were able to avoid some MAJOR possible disasters with some really important vendors (talking Catering & Glam…pretty important :) ). My whole point is this- you have no idea what you’re looking at or even the questions to ask, even if you think you do, you need someone like Johanna and her team as allies. We avoided these possible disasters because we had Johanna. And even better, once confirming that it wasn’t in our best interest to book said vendor(s), Johanna would be right there with other options for us that were highly recommended and most important- in our budget. I never once felt pressured or like that I wasn't heard at all with Johanna during this process. She received and heard every ounce of my wants and intentions for this day and for that, I am indebted to her. Our wedding day was such a sacred day and because of the team (led by Johanna ) we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Our main focus was just being present with each other and savoring every second- that’s how it should be! BOOK JLM DESIGN AND EVENTS, trust me it’ll be the best thing you do :)”

“We first met Elizabeth 6 month’s prior to our wedding and knew instantly she was the best person to bring our wedding day to life. She brings such an enthusiastic positive energy with every call, text, in person meet, etc. She makes you feel like she’s your personal hype person for the time leading up to wedding date. She also very clearly loves what she does, which is for good reason, she’s brilliant, inventive and second to none with her abilities. The lead up to the wedding involved so much coordination with different vendors, wrangling guests like cats and all the other fun stressors that come with weddings. She guided us through every bit of turbulent weather including the arduous task of recommending DJs, photographers and florists. For 6 months, she was effectively our mental health coach to keep us on task, on schedule and feel secure that our day will be treated with the utmost care as if we’re the only thing that mattered in the world.
