“We used Something Borrowed Blooms for our night before party/Sri Lankan ceremony and I couldn't be more happy. The set-up, breakdown, and return was easy enough and our guests had no idea the flowers were artificial! We were able to save money but still had stunning flowers for the ceremony and reception. Your wedding flowers should do more than decorate a room. They should make you feel something long after the day is over. I'm Tara, the grower and designer behind Peterson's Patch, a flower farm and wedding studio in Sterling, Connecticut. My style is nature-inspired and a little moody: calm with a touch of drama, like an English garden by the sea. The most beautiful weddings begin with trust. Hand me your vision and I'll guide you through every decision, so that when you see your flowers for the first time, you feel peace, joy, and complete confidence. Every couple and every kind of love is welcome here. I'd love to hear about your day.

“Tara did such a beautiful job on our wedding florals - I seriously can't recommend her enough! She was so great to work with from start to finish. She completely understood our vision, and she created something even more beautiful with her arrangements than I could even imagine. Her beautiful centerpiece arrangements really elevated our guest tables, and I didn't want to let go of my bouquet the entire day. I can't thank her enough for her beautiful work, and how incredibly accommodating she was the week of our wedding.”

There’s a reason we’re drawn to flowers. It’s the same reason we’re drawn to the mountains, the sea and everything in between. Hi! I'm Rebecca, owner of Rudbeckia Florals. With a lifelong admiration for nature, Rudbeckia florals is an ode to this. Designs give into the will of each stem and petal to create arrangements lead by shape and texture.

“We worked with Becky to design the florals for our baby shower and were absolutely blown away by her choice of colors, flowers, and arrangement style! She went out of her way to make the arrangements special to us while fitting the theme of our shower. We had so many guests commenting on the overall floral aesthetic, and she even designed a Flower Bar for guests to create their own bouquet to take home as favors which was a big hit! Highly recommend Rudbeckia Florals for any event!”

“The absolute best decision I made during wedding planning was hiring Jakkelyn- and us brides know there's no less than 1,000 decisions we have to make! From day 1, she was so fun to work with. I had a pretty specific floral vision- with the monochrome bouquets for my bridesmaids and specific colors. She took my vision and made it everything I dreamed of except even more beautiful. I cried when I walked into my venue and saw her magic. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is so sweet. I am going to miss talking and planning with her. It's also worth a mention that I had to change my venue to a completely different state and she was more than happy to stick with me. I am beyond grateful! I am very picky and florals were a very important part of my day- trust Jakki and you'll be so happy!!”

BLOOM. Creative Floral & Events is a boutique floral and event design studio located in Northeast, CT, serving counties in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We create seasonal, garden-inspired floral arrangements, using only the freshest flowers and unique blooms and ingredients responsibly sourced from local flower farmers and gardens from all over the world. Drawing inspiration from your ideas, your unique style, and the venue you have chosen, we work closely with you and the team of professionals you have hired to implement your special day to help you achieve, big and small, the wedding of your dreams.

“Tammie made our wedding a dream. We love flowers and knew we wanted them to be a showstopper during our big day, and from our very first meeting we knew that Tammie would create organic coastal garden magic for us. After describing our likes and dislikes and reviewing a moodboard with Tammie, she came back with a visual proposal that completely understood the vision we had, and the actual execution was even better than we could have expected. From my beautiful bouquet, to the ceremony arrangements, and the stunner of a floral chandelier, everything was absolutely perfect. However, nothing could really top the reception tables — it was like my Pinterest board come to life. The organic feeling growing arrangements, bud vases, ikebanas, and tapers that complimented our tablecloths were *chefs kiss*. I’m still not over everything! To top it all off, Tammie is so kind, warm, and lovely — she made dreaming up flowers one of the best and most enjoyable parts of this process. Thank you for everything, Tammie!”

Farm Couture Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Norwich, CT

Farm Couture Flowers is the design studio at Muddy Feet Flower Farm. I grow over 100 varieties of cut flowers from April through November and incorporate them into lush garden-style arrangements and bouquets.

“Where to begin? Kristin is an artist. In the age of insane wedding Pinterest boards and over-planning every detail, we gladly handed the floral design and aesthetics over to Kristin. She uses her own flowers from her farm, so she's both local and sustainable, and if you're interested in supporting a small, woman-owned business, this is the way to go. We trusted her direction and expertise and it was the best decision we could have made. When we walked into our venue on the day-of, we were both floored. It was so much better than I could have even imagined; we received so many sincere compliments from guests. Our wedding photographer said he thought they were the best wedding flowers he'd seen. The floral design was original, organic, and creative, and the greenery was gorgeous. If you choose Kristin as your florist, trust her to lead the way. It'll be better than anything you could have imagined!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

“Our wedding was held at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in June 2024. Kate was such a pleasure to work with and really brought our floral vision to life! I appreciated her free excel planning tools and how responsive she was from our first inquiry. After our first phone call, I realized that she is incredibly easy-going and down to earth, in addition to being well-organized. These are qualities you want in your wedding vendors. I have always loved florals and she helped me craft a vision that stayed within our budget. Our theme was coastal vineyard - I wanted the vibe to be loose & romantic without veering too rustic. She found this balance perfectly! On our wedding day, she arrived early and took care of everything quietly without a hitch! I didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't recommend Fountainhead Floral enough!”

“It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how absolutely beautiful the day was. Liz and her team were the central part of that. With a December winter wedding, many of the traditional floral options were not applicable, but with Liz's guidance, we realized very quickly that just because most flowers may not be in season, doesn't mean that it is still not an absolutely beautiful time of year. Liz and her team effortlessly draped beautiful garland throughout our venue, transformed the central staircase into something out of a storybook, and made a winter arch piece that it still hanging on our front porch as a stunning winter decoration. It was dotted with cinnamon sticks, and ornaments, and dried orange peels in a way that we could never have thought of. It was so creative and magical and made it clear that Liz had seen our vision and expanded on it in such an incredible way. Additionally, when Liz walked in with the bridal bouquets, everyone could not stop admiring and obsessing over them. With the gorgeous variety of blooms and greens, it was truly the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined. Even more so than the pinterest boards we all obsess over. Lastly, Liz's professionalism was second to none. She made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the process. She was even able to incorporate pieces of my gown that had been cut off during alterations to add an even more personal, and sparkly(!), touch to the bouquets. I cannot recommend Liz enough. She made my husband and I feel so special and seen during our day, and I hope that you are lucky enough to feel the same way!”

“I worked with Jillian for our bridal party flowers (including a collar for The dog!) and a centerpiece for our head table. I booked out over a year and then changed my mind on the color scheme a couple months before the wedding. Jillian was not only super accommodating but she pulled a new inspo board for me based on the fake flower arch I did myself. They worked so well together I could not be happier. Jillian also made a long drive up to Lexington to deliver my flowers in person & brought extra flowers for my photographer to use in our lay flat which I had completely forgotten to ask for. I could not recommend her and her business more. 10/10 customer service & work. I would also recommend finding someone to preserve your bouquet after your event because you’re not going to want to stop looking at it!”

“We used Glitzed Events for our wedding florals and they did a fantastic job! Nicole went above and beyond before we even chatted on the phone, quickly putting together a concept board of the wedding florals just from a Pinterest board I had sent. It was exactly what I was envisioning and I knew I wanted to work with her simply by her going the extra mile from day one. When we did have the initial conversation, Nicole took her time getting to know us and our style, and explained her whole process and answered any questions we had. She helped us stay within our budget while still providing high quality, creative and beautiful florals. “Emma at First Blush Floral & Planning was an absolute treasure to work with, and we couldn't recommend her more. As a wedding couple who had to pivot unexpectedly from original vendor and venue plans, the minute I got on a call with Emma, I knew she would be perfect in helping our vision come to life. Cool, calm, collected, organized and knowledgeable, she listened to what we wanted and made it come to life. We felt so reassured that we also added Fist Blush's planning services on to our floral package. It was such peace of mind in those final weeks (and the big day) to know she was behind the scenes of it all. Forever grateful! The pouring rain and day-of chaos stood no chance.”
