The Best Wedding Planners in Rising Sun, MD

“Sarah and the rest of the Events by Rose team were the MVPs of our wedding planning process. From the start Sarah took time to get to know us as a couple, to ensure our wedding day reflected who we are. Sarah was always 10 steps ahead, thinking about every little detail of our special day. Her organization was extremely impressive to see first hand. Even the vendors we spoke with face-to-face raved about her organization, professionalism, and how easy it is to work with her. I think it speaks volumes that everyone she interacts with (clients and vendors alike) love to work with her. She is outstanding at balancing all the moving parts of a wedding with ease, and always made sure we felt comfortable with every step of the process. Sarah always took the time to help us finetune even the smallest of details, making sure the day would include everything we wanted. So many of our friends have said the wedding process was one of the most stressful times in their lives, but we did not have that experience at all and this is hugely attributed to Sarah and her team. The experience was enjoyable and exciting, and we never once found ourselves overwhelmed. We would have never been able to make it to our wedding day while still having fun, if we didn’t have Sarah leading our team. On the day of our wedding, Sarah and her team were OUTSTANDING! We felt cared for by each member of the team and our guests felt the entire day flowed perfectly, all thanks to Sarah. Every small detail was planned out and went exactly as planned. Sarah went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed, all while managing our vendors and guests. If you are wondering if you should hire Events by Rose for your wedding the answer is absolutely yes! Thanks again Sarah and the Events by Rose team for everything you did, we literally could not have done it without you. You helped make our perfect wedding day a reality!”

“Veronica and James are absolutely incredible. They made planning our wedding so easy and kept everything so organized. All of our check-in calls kept everything on track and made everything less overwhelming. On our actual wedding day, they made sure everything was handled and kept everything under control. Mind you, this was managing two wedding ceremonies in one day - one traditional Vietnamese and one American style. I never thought I would need a wedding coordinator, but it is the best investment we made in our entire wedding. We still think of James and Veronica as our friends and keep in touch. Who knew that meeting two people at a wedding expo would make such a difference in our lives and our wedding story.”

Island Creek Events

Rating: 4.9 (45 reviews)

“We first met Island Creek Events at a bridal expo in Queenstown, and from that moment, we knew we were in good hands. After an initial Zoom call where they explained everything they offer, how the process would work with a day-of coordinator, and broke down all the pricing, we felt confident moving forward—and we’re so glad we did. We had Naomi as our day-of planner, and she was absolutely amazing. We truly could not have asked for a better person to help guide us through the final stretch leading up to our wedding on August 2nd. From the start, she made everything feel manageable. We Zoomed once a week to stay on track, and she walked us through what needed to be done on our end vs. what she would handle. She answered every question (big or small) and was always willing to schedule extra meetings if we needed them. Naomi was there for our dress rehearsal the night before and stayed with us all day on the wedding day. She took care of setup, made sure every guest got the right meal, and kept everything running smoothly—so much so that if any issues came up, we never even knew. She handled everything with such grace and calm, and because of her, we were able to truly enjoy our day without stress. Naomi was a total lifesaver, and we’re endlessly grateful for her dedication, professionalism, and care. We highly, highly recommend Island Creek Events, and especially Naomi, to anyone looking for an incredible day-of coordinator.”

“Simply stated: hire The Bridal Bestie. Alliyah's diligence, compassion, creativity, professionalism, and expertise allowed us the privilege of feeling fully present on our wedding day, immersed in emotion and joy rather than burdened by logistics or stress. There wasn't a single detail too small for Alliyah to manage. It takes a lot of skill to make an event look effortless, but that's the type of high-quality effort and performance that comes standard when you book with Alliyah and her team. In the months leading up to our wedding, she provided guidance, support, and humor while solving every sticky situation that comes with wedding planning. I lost my job during the wedding planning process and her support really helped us feel confident with our wedding plans and reinvigorate our excitement even though I faced such a huge personal setback. We couldn't be happier that we hired The Bridal Bestie, she really made our wedding dreams a reality.”

“If you do ONE thing for your wedding, let it be hiring Evviva! I would give her a million stars if I could. Every time I hear someone talking about getting married, I tell them to hire Evviva. Kat is, without question, the best day-of coordinator ever. She saved the day multiple times and could not have been more pleasant, professional, and fun to work with. I got married 5 months ago, and my guests are still talking about how amazing her team was. When I was struggling to pick out invitations, Kat went above and beyond—she designed them herself, mailed each one, and handled every last detail (including stamps!). She took care of everything from frames to display boards to wrangling my wonderfully crazy family. She saw my vision and helped me implement it across all my vendors. I would have been lost and frustrated without her. Because of Kat and her team, our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives. I didn’t have to stress or worry about a thing—she had it all handled with grace and a smile. Kat was born to do this job, and I cannot recommend her enough. If you want a flawless, joy-filled, stress-free wedding day, hire Evviva. It will be the best decision you make.”

“Working with Love & Laughter Weddings for our small wedding in Carmel by the Sea was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. We booked their Event Management package with officiant and Design add on for our wedding weekend and I genuinely can’t imagine our wedding without Evelyn and her team. From the moment we met, Evelyn was such a calming, reassuring, and positive presence. Wedding planning felt overwhelming at times, but she always made us feel grounded and supported in our check in meetings. No matter what came up, she handled everything with kindness, confidence and such a peaceful energy. Having someone like that in your corner truly makes all the difference. I shared my Pinterest inspiration and some ideas I’d seen online with her and somehow she brought everything to life even better than I could’ve imagined. Every detail was intentional and very “Us.” The entire weekend flowed so easily and I was able to be present in the moment and enjoy the time with our family and friends instead of stressing. The whole Love & Laughter team was amazing to work with and made our wedding feel effortless and beautiful. I highly recommend them for any couple looking for a team that is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely caring and supportive throughout the process.”

The Signature Details

Rating: 5.0 (33 reviews)

“If you’re looking for the BEST wedding coordinator in all of VA, look no further than with Detail Signature! Kellie came into the picture when I booked with DJ Signature and added on a wedding coordinator. I knew from our first zoom meeting with her and Brandon that she was the perfect match for me! I am not always the easiest to work with and a massive control freak but Kellie made giving that control over a breeze. I would email her throughout the year with little things I needed advice or help with and she would as there every step of the way. As we got closer to the wedding we had multiple 1 hour video sessions where she saw every side of me and helped keep my mind at ease. Every concern or worry I had she took the time to listen and make sure we had a plan for whatever happened. I always looked forward to our meetings as it was like two friends getting to catch up and share jokes. Part of her set up is a weekend wedding guide and seating chart. I cannot tell you how many times I changed things in this guide but Kellie never complained and always made updates in a timely manner. Not to mention she reached out to all my vendors and the owners of venue to communicate everything from contracts to arrival times. That alone lifted a huge weight off my shoulders as my anxiety started to go crazy in crunch time but Kellie made sure everything was squared away. The day before the wedding Kellie came to the venue and within 2 hours we had all the tables and decor done. We walked through the venue and made sure everything was taken care of and ready to go. We went through our rehearsal and she made it feel flawless. She had everyone in line and ready to walk at the correct times. On our actual wedding day we had Kellie and Abbie there to answer all the questions. When I say this was a BLESSING I 100% mean it. I was so overstimulated and anxious while trying to make sure things were ready to go that when someone would yell for me or ask questions, I would literally just yell for one of them and they would take care of whatever was being asked about. They both made sure when I asked for private time I was able to escape and had snacks and water. When it was time to clean up and go, Kellie literally shooed us out and said they got the clean up taken care of. Honestly, it was hard to say goodbye and there will never be enough words to thank her for making our wedding an absolute dream. If you want the best of the best for a wedding coordinator, you’ve found it with Signature Details and her team!”

She was able to source everything that we needed, with a mix of cost-effective party elements and high-end party elements where it counted. She also is an extremely talented floral designer, so it was nice to not have to outsource another vendor for that. The day of, she was at the venue early to make sure everything was set-up perfectly, then broke down/cleaned up everything when we were done with the luncheon. Lissa had a great list of vendor recommendations and coordinated seamlessly with all of them, so we didn't have to worry about it. She kept us focused and stayed calm, giving us confidence that she had everything handled (which she did of course). On the wedding day, Lissa and her team were exceptional. They kept the timeline running smoothly, kept us in the loop on the schedule, and allowed us to enjoy the day with family and friends. Lissa was great at planning the wedding before the wedding day, but she was even better on the wedding day, which was really important. Being care free on the wedding day was a big help and very nice! Lissa is awesome, and I'd definitely recommend her. We are very grateful we worked with Lissa for our wedding!”

“Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day! Since the initial call with Michelle she was so sweet and had so many fun ideas for our wedding content. Her communication was amazing throughout our whole engagement season and leading up to and on our wedding day. Michelle was not just one of our vendors, but she felt like a friend and so fun to have follow us around on our big day. She immediately jumped in and was willing to help make sure us as the bride/groom were taken care of. We also enjoyed our time getting to know her better between wedding day events. If you are looking for a lovely person to capture the sweetest moments of your wedding, book Michelle! Your attention to detail was amazing and we so appreciate all that you have done for us! We love the pictures, video clips, and crafted reels that will always remind us of the best day of our lives! Thank you Michelle!!”

“Working with Dana and her team at Thyme & Details was such a relief from start to finish. We hired Thyme & Details late in the game for our wedding- about 4 months out when we realized we couldn't pull off the wedding we wanted by ourselves. She responded to every question right away and gave us thoughtful answers that showed they really understood what we wanted for our day. Her vendor recommendations are top notch and her relationships with vendors around the city made the booking processes much quicker and often more affordable. What impressed us most was how organized everything was behind the scenes. Dana & team solved every problem so quickly that we didn't even realize anything had gone wrong. Her depth of experience & knowledge really shows- from timelines to vendor negotiation. On our wedding day, Dana & her team stayed calm and joyful the entire time, which made us feel comfortable and excited instead of stressed. Her personal touch and attention to detail showed in every part of our celebration, and we felt like our wedding was truly ours. We can't recommend Thyme & Details enough to couples looking for a planner who genuinely cares and knows how to get to execute flawlessly. It's a plus that Dana herself is such a joy- our wedding planning team was one of our favorite parts of our day.”

I believe that coordinating an event should be fun, exciting and stress-free. With years of experience and an everlasting passion for what I do, rest assured you will get the event you were dreaming of. All I need from you is to describe exactly what you wish for. And, on my end? I'll make sure to tailor a magnificent event that will exceed your expectations. There's nothing I love more than seeing the look on my clients' faces after they arrive at the venue, because I know the job was well done.

“Working with Bre was easily one of the best vendor choices we made while wedding planning. Our wedding ceremony became a kind of “pop-up” style event and Bre rolled with every decision and last minute detail we threw at her. With her day-of coordination package, we were able to have 2 pre wedding meetings and a rehearsal the day before. I went into the rehearsal feeling nervous about how things would go and left feeling so reassured and excited! The day of the wedding Bre checked in with me and made sure things were running smoothly. I felt so calm and confident walking up to the venue knowing Bre was in charge and bringing our vision to life! The whole day went beautifully and I know it’s because Bre was working her magic behind the scenes. She stayed until the last moment of clean up and made sure all our personal items and gifts made it home with us. Beyond just receiving a great service, it was so special to work with someone who truly celebrated with us and took care of us like we were old friends. I would 100% recommend working with Magical Moments and wish we could get married again to continue working with them!”

“11/11 graduating bride review I got married on 11.11.23 and I really really want to start my reviews with my wedding planner because my gosh I CAN NOT recommend her enough!! Brooke goes above and beyond to make sure your day, week, years (had her booked for 2years lol) go so smooth you get to actually take in and enjoy the process. Along with her amazing team, I had monthly progress emails to help guide me along with to do’s for that month. Progress video chats also allowed us to touch base and iron out details together. I never felt pressured or rushed and their advice was so incredibly helpful. Then the big day came! I can’t express enough how calm I was from the moment I woke until the moment I went to bed that night (this is big coming from a perpetually anxious person my entire life). Her team helped with checklists, vendor coordination, timelines, decor setup and breakdown, day of text line, vip contacts and everything and anything in between. I just feel like if you can even have an initial consult with Brooke, DO IT. Above all else, she’s such a wonderful human! How can you beat that? Good people around you on your big day that you can trust mean everything! Do yourself a favor and get this woman on your side for your best day ever!”
