Fountainhead Floral Design
Rating: 4.9 (54 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Woodbridge, CT
  • Offer

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

“When I first saw my wedding bouquet I was speechless! It was nothing like any other bouquet I had seen in the absolute best way! The flowers were gorgeous, vibrant, and truly unique, just like I wanted! Kate has such a keen ability to take inspiration photos, run with them, and create something incredibly gorgeous and in line with my vision. The florals she designed brought a lovely pop of color to our reception and pulled the natural look from the landscape into the space exactly like I envisioned. From little details like "snap-bracelet" corsages for the moms to a color-coordinating ribbon on the boutonnieres, Kate totally knocked it out of the park!”

“Emma at First Blush Floral & Planning was an absolute treasure to work with, and we couldn't recommend her more. As a wedding couple who had to pivot unexpectedly from original vendor and venue plans, the minute I got on a call with Emma, I knew she would be perfect in helping our vision come to life. Cool, calm, collected, organized and knowledgeable, she listened to what we wanted and made it come to life. We felt so reassured that we also added Fist Blush's planning services on to our floral package. It was such peace of mind in those final weeks (and the big day) to know she was behind the scenes of it all. Forever grateful! The pouring rain and day-of chaos stood no chance.”

Willow & Grey
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)
  • Serves Woodbridge, CT

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

“We hired Willow & Grey for our wedding florals, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Renee was an absolute dream to work with—thoughtful, creative, and incredibly talented. One of the things that initially stood out to me was that Renee had already been to our venue before, so she had a great eye for how to enhance the space and transform it into something truly special. Even with minimal inspiration from us, she completely understood our vision and brought it to life in such a beautiful way. We wanted our florals to complement the overall vibe of our day while still feeling unique and personal—and Renee absolutely delivered. Every arrangement felt intentional and artful, with those little unexpected touches that made everything feel extra special. If you're getting married in Connecticut and want florals that feel both elegant and personal, we’d 100% recommend Willow & Grey. Renee is amazing! – The Ryans”

On the day of the wedding, I was SO pleased with the flowers. They were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Anyelys, the local designer assigned to my wedding, was kind, collaborated beautifully with my coordinators, and did such a wonderful job with the flowers. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

“We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Do yourself a favor and go with The Fuax Bouquets!”

“Viktoriia and her team at VH Floral Design were simply amazing! Viktoriia is highly professional and super responsive with communication despite her busy schedule. I, the bride, worked with her directly since I didn't have a wedding manager, and she kindly made time on her day off for a conference call to go over my vision. Her team delivered divine work on the wedding day (and she even kindly gifted us some bud vases to place on tables!). Although I wasn't able to thank them in person (evidence of how efficiently they work both with setting up and breaking down), I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked. You can just tell how much love, passion, and effort she puts into her work. I felt very well taken care of throughout the whole process -- there was never a concern that something would go wrong. And needless to say, the flowers were so fresh and full, and she totally captured my vision perfectly, especially with the gorgeous bouquet, which received many compliments! My family members took many of the flowers from the deconstructed arch to take home too. I would highly recommend VH Floral Design to everyone!!!”

“First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.”

Raving Flamingo Flowers creates wholly original floralscapes from live, dried, faux, and foraged blooms. Inspired by fine art, wild textures, and the natural world, I think of every floral work as a sculpture, crafted with care to celebrate the love and joy in your heart.

“I cannot say enough amazing things about our florist! From the very first consultation to the moment I saw everything come together on our wedding day, I was absolutely blown away. The florals were beyond perfect — lush, romantic, and so thoughtfully designed. The bouquets were bursting with vibrant, textured blooms — deep reds, soft peaches, creamy neutrals, and those wisps of pampas grass that added the dreamiest touch. The ceremony arch was a total showstopper, blending elegance and boho charm flawlessly. And our golden retriever’s floral collar? I still can’t get over how stunning (and perfectly proportioned) it was — She looked like part of the bridal party! Every single arrangement tied the day together with such artistry and warmth. The color palette popped beautifully against our neutral bridesmaid dresses and the hill country backdrop. You can tell every petal and placement was done with passion and precision. If you’re looking for a florist who can capture your vision and elevate it beyond what you even imagined — look no further. Truly the kind of work that makes your wedding look straight out of a magazine!”

My name is Lindsay Fondo and I am a floral designer and photographer based in CT, by way of NY. Serving both + NJ. I have a strong appreciation for flowers and photo’s, for their ability to say how we really feel, and how when you look at them you get all of the feel good vibes. I absolutely love working with my clients to bring their vision to life/ help flesh out a vision they didn’t even know was there.

“Lindsay is a true talent! She simply *gets it* and brought our vision to life flawlessly with very little oversight needed. Gorgeous quality all around.”
