As a writer, I've always been moved by the power of words to express emotions. And being the one who narrates the words that I’ve written for a couple on their wedding day while witnessing the effect each word has on their closest friends and family is the greatest honor a writer can have. HLWT is the amalgamation of my talents, my experience, my passions, and all the things that make my heart beat with excitement.

Description	As your wedding officiant and day-of coordinator, the level of care that I tirelessly bring to your wedding planning and ceremony are felt in every moment at the wedding. I'm passionate about sharing your story in a way that moves your guests emotionally through the lens of your relationship. I'm a calming presence and with a penchant for logistics & timelines so that you & your partner will be relaxed and able to be present on your wedding day.	Intimate affairs allow your ceremony to be the focal point of your day, and your pop-up nuptials will be far from clandestine. I'll help choose a location and will make sure that even a public place will feel private. I executed an event called "Elopements for Couples Who Care" where I married 6 couples in Central Park with all proceeds for charity. The day was seamless despite weather conditions and I was honored to coordinate and officiate!	My company, Have Lover, Will Travel, was created from the idea that the world was made for lovers to explore hand in hand. I officiate weddings & plan honeymoons, so destination weddings are the perfect blend of both of these passions. Your ceremony will have a transportive quality that highlights your adventurous love story. I also help your guests plan travel itineraries so that your destination wedding is a seamless and joy-filled experience.

Working with Liz made planning our wedding so much easier. From the start, she was sweet and attentive to every detail, including handling our marriage license and making sure it got to the right place at the right time. On our wedding day, she read our ceremony with warmth and professionalism that felt personal to us. Her thorough approach and helpful nature took stress off our shoulders during the whole process. We would absolutely recommend her to any couple looking for a planner who truly cares about making their day special.

The best officiant!
We had Liz as the officiant for our wedding last weekend and I cannot say enough how glad I am we chose to work with her for our special day. She was able to draft up a ceremony for us that truly felt like us and incorporate the story of our relationship and our personality into the ceremony. It took answering and sharing a lot of questions and stories to come up with the perfect draft and she was able to turn it around really quickly as well even though it took us a bit longer than initially planned to get her all our needed answers amid everything else going on. She's also just so personable and such a great speaker as well and really made our ceremony special both for us and everyone else in attendance. I highly recommend working with her!!

One of the best in the business
Liz was truly exceptional to work with prior to and on the day of our wedding. Her professionalism and her approach to understanding our love story was thorough and during the day of our event is really showed - with our friends and family showing true investment in our relationship and being hooked on every word that Liz had spoken prior to our vows. It’s not easy to capture different perspectives in a relationship but Liz knew how to do so in a beautiful and patient way that allowed for folks of all different backgrounds and ethnicities to truly appreciate every aspect of our journey together. I would highly recommend Liz for any engagements moving forward as she is truly one of the best in her line of work, and you should not hesitate to work with her for your special day.

Liz's Storytelling Ability is a Rare Gift
Liz was the best to work with. She captured our personalities and love story so well in our ceremony. Our entire process with her was so wonderful and collaborative. Liz knew exactly what to ask to evoke our input into the story and made sure both of our voices were highlighted throughout. We so appreciated her insightful questions and back and forth as we finalized our ceremony from draft to final. On the day of, she seamlessly helped the ceremony run smoothly. Liz’s ability to write and share a story is truly a gift. Every couple deserves Liz to tell their story.

Heartfelt wedding ceremony
Hiring Liz for as wedding officiant was a no-brainer – from the initial call, we loved her calm energy and love for capturing a couple’s story through intentional conversations and beautiful writing. We were not disappointed – she created a beautiful ceremony for us, and we got so many compliments from friends and family on how our love story was shared throughout the ceremony! Throughout our wedding planning process, Liz sent us each lists of questions to fill out about our relationship, family, and preferences for the ceremony, and had multiple phone calls with us to delve deeper into the personality of our relationship. The result was an incredible encapsulation of our love, pulling together a complicated origin story spanning many states/countries and years into a beautifully told narrative. Many of our friends and family knew parts of this story, but so many people told me they loved hearing about our relationship from start to finish and learning new aspects of our time together! Liz also helped both of us with our vows and helped us make sure the vows complemented one another without ruining the surprise – we both ended up very happy with how our vows turned out, and our friends and family absolutely loved hearing them! Overall, Liz is a wonderful choice for officiant – we cannot recommend her enough.
