“This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. She was extremely RESPONSIVE to all communication and I don’t think I ever waited more than 24 hours to hear back from her. Her planning expertise prior to the actual weekend was invaluable, but she really was our angel during the wedding weekend. “I hired Johnnie to plan a baby shower for my best friend. She was so instrumental when it came to bringing my vision to reality and helped elevate my vision further with her ideas and resources. She was able to source everything that we needed, with a mix of cost-effective party elements and high-end party elements where it counted. She also is an extremely talented floral designer, so it was nice to not have to outsource another vendor for that. The day of, she was at the venue early to make sure everything was set-up perfectly, then broke down/cleaned up everything when we were done with the luncheon. Overall, she took a huge load off my shoulders when it came to everything that needed to be sourced and set-up for this event - I was very much able to enjoy the party and be a proper host, and didn't have to spend my nights and weekends with coordination leading up to the event.”
