“Alyson served as our day-of coordinator in August of 2024, but she got to work well ahead of our big day. She spent a generous amount of time understanding our vision, our preferences, and our non-negotiables. She was on site with us for venue walkthroughs and established communication with our vendors ahead of time. She also checked in with us regularly to make sure we were on track. She was a bona fide problem solver, including helping our DJ sort out access issues with our venue, ensuring our guests didn’t walk through our aisle before the ceremony, and running across the street at the eleventh hour to buy eyelash glue. She even helped us bustle the wedding dress between the ceremony and reception when we couldn’t figure it out. We are really grateful for everything she did and we highly recommend working with her for your special day.”

Our planning timeline was only about 5 months, My husband and I lived in different countries and had to deal with the added stress of immigration visas on top of wedding planning. Haylie was so easy to work with, always on top of deadlines and keeping us on track in the all stages of planning. She listened to our ideas and dreams and found vendors that suited and fit within budget. She found us an amazing coffee cart vendor after i said coffee would be awesome to have. We dreamed of it being a fairytale/ hobbiton vibes in the music, she found us a music duo who hit the brief perfectly. She helped us surprise each other the morning of and throughout the day. She communicated with vendors, understood the fine print in the contracts and would let us know what our responsibility was. She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. “Simply Elegant Group was by far my favorite vendor! Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! Seriously, watching them in action — they’re like the SEAL Team 6 of weddings! The best part? They make sure that the bride and groom’s needs are taken care of above all else. For the entire year leading up to the wedding, our biggest advocate and support system was Lety. She was always quick to respond, creating a constant and reliable channel of communication. Any confusion or ambiguity during the planning process was immediately addressed or resolved. She handled every question, issue, or idea right away, and without judgement! That is what drew me to this team in the first place. From the very first conversation that I had with Lety, I could tell that she cared about our day and us as a couple. She made it known immediately that she had our backs and she was going to do everything possible to make my ‘colorful’ and ‘vibrant’ vision a reality! On the actual day, we were able to make this happen and the space was exactly as I had imagined it! Our guests were gawking at the decor and raving about the small details that we had curated. Behind the scenes, this was weeks and weeks of constant back and forth conversations. Tweaking and updating and pivoting. Throughout it all, Lety’s dedication and commitment never wavered! “We could NOT have done our wedding without Janella at Vinella Events. We were looking for a day-of coordinator because we thought it would help us enjoy our day and focus on celebrating with each other and our guests. We had that and more in working with Janella, and I am so thankful she made our wedding day as successful as it was. Janella came recommended to us by our venue, and we first met with her about 4 months before our wedding and went with her 6-week coordination package. We originally just wanted someone to help only for the day of the wedding, but this absolutely was a better deal because she came with us to our venue meetings, helped coordinate our timeline, asked insightful questions for things we never would have even thought of, went through our ceremony with me, and helped me feel SO much more prepared before the wedding through meetings and just being a resource. She helped us run an efficient rehearsal prior to the wedding and coordinated with me so that we would have all of the set-up and items how I wanted them for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond in her role. She set up all of our decor, helped facilitate transportation of items, executed the timeline and adapted when things went off time (and importantly, did all of this seamlessly so that myself and the guests didn’t notice), created back-up plans when there were issues with other vendors, coordinated set-up with other vendors, ran to get my lipstick from another room for photos, and too many other things behind the scenes that I didn’t even have to know about because I was able to trust her to tackle them. I had multiple compliments from family members and friends about how organized she was and how kind she was, and she made a 270-person wedding flow seamlessly. She ultimately gave us the ability to just ENJOY the day without having to answer questions or worry about things going on that day. I am so thankful for Janella and would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything, Janella!”

“After Spencer and I got engaged, we quickly realized that we needed someone to help us stay organized and on top of all of our deadlines. We hired Bristol as our partial planner and day-of coordinator, and it was easily the best decision we made throughout the planning process!! Our monthly planning calls with Bristol were crucial to helping us stay on top of all of the details, and she provided a ton of extremely helpful planning spreadsheets that made everything very straightforward. We always knew what we had left to do and what was next on the agenda. She also took a lot of time to understand our vision for the wedding day, and virtually all of the vendors we ended up hiring came at her recommendation. It was also really important to us that our wedding create as little waste as possible, and all of the vendors she sent our way helped us towards that goal. One of the things we appreciated the most was her assistance in finalizing details with our vendors. A lot of questions came up in those final calls that we hadn’t thought about or were not prepared to answer, and Bristol helped us make the right decisions every time. “I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. Even though our venue was farther outside Chicago (Indiana), she ran several venue walkthroughs in-person, attended vendor visits with me, and always accommodated my husband and I’s busy schedule. As Alexa started to step away for her maternity leave (which started right before our wedding date), she did an amazing job ensuring her team was fully prepared to handle last minute preparations and day-of responsibilities. The day-of team of 3 were awesome with completely handling all details A-Z so I didn’t have to worry about anything, even despite some last minute changes due to weather! Due to the complexity of our venue, its location, short timeline, and being from out-of-state, we are SO GLAD we booked Monarch for their full planning package and had the privilege of working with Alexa! It was sincerely our pleasure to have her bring our special day to life, she was a joy to work with and get to know. If I were getting married again, I’d book her services again no question! “From the moment we started planning our wedding with Here It Blooms, Pauline's clear, professional, and organized communication style put us at ease. We went with The Bud package (30 days of planning). My main concern was coordinating and communicating with vendors the last 30 days and all of the day of coordination. I am a project manager so I thought I had everything set, but she was so helpful in highlighting the little things that we had forgotten to plan or think through, such as when do we want to have our first dance and parent dances, or how much to tip each vendor. Being able to rely on someone with industry knowledge alleviated a lot my stress. The detailed timeline she created was wonderful for our vendors and I didn't have to communicate with anyone. This allowed me to fully enjoy the day. Pauline and Priscilla's detailed work and smooth set-up ensured our reception space looked beautifully curated, with a perfect blend of DIY and venue-provided elements. Pauline even stayed an extra hour to carefully disassemble all the DIY items. Additionally, they made sure my husband and I had a private moment during cocktail hour to enjoy a sample of our hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails - a thoughtful touch that provided a much-needed breather on our busy wedding day. “Where do we begin? From the moment Camille offered her expertise to us, we knew we would be all good on our wedding day. Her vast experience in the event planning and coordinating space — she has worked as a caterer, day-of coordinator, full blown event planner — was evident from the first time meeting. Camille's attention to detail is a credit to her organization skills and depth of knowledge related to event and wedding planning. We did most of our planning ahead of time and brought Camille in to be our day-of coordinator. About two months before our wedding, we met with Camille and shared as many of our wedding details we had available and within a day, Camille had created an extremely detailed timeline for the entire weekend. Any element of the timeline that she did not have yet was highlighted red so we could figure out what information we needed to provide. She regularly would check in with us to make sure we were working to get those missing elements, and actually took over responsibility gathering some of it for us. Her knowledge of event planning helped us plan out when to schedule our entrance, first dance, dinner service for a wedding of 275, and speech timing to ensure we got out on the dance floor with plenty of time to dance. She connected all of our vendors and sent regular updates to them to make sure everyone was on the same page. As our day-of wedding coordinator, Camille was present at our rehearsal the night before. When it was time to really get going, Camille took charge and commanded the rehearsal with confidence. She walked me and my husband through her rehearsal process, got us set to practice, took notes for the day, and just made us feel certain that everything was going to work out. On the day of the wedding, our first look was at noon. When rain entered the forecast for the day, Camille quickly located an alternative first look location and communicated the change of plans with our photographer and wedding party, who got us where we needed to be. When we arrived at the wedding & reception venue around 2 p.m., we anticipated needing to help finish setting up the space. Camille, with a small team of our family and friends, got the entire space set and ready before we arrived. That let us relax and enjoy some time with our bridal party before the ceremony began. Camille is real, honest, and will tell you the truth when you need to hear it. She listens to what you're wanting and hoping for on your wedding day, and does everything she can to make that vision happen. She sees and thinks details about the day that wouldn't cross most people's minds. I would recommend Camille and Cherry on Top Creative Planning to anyone who wants to feel certain that their wedding day will feel perfect. (It won't be perfect though, because perfect never happens!)”

“I reached out to so many planners/coordinators for my wedding and so many were either slow to respond or did not respond at all. Chelsea was prompt and excited to help, despite my wedding being quite the undertaking. I did my own (faux) flowers, which meant on top of regular day-of duties, she was putting up full floral arrangements, lighting hundreds of candles, and putting together tons of other small details and finishing touches. I can't emphasize this enough - our day would not have come together in the way that it did without her. She was on top of everything and truly made my vision come to life. She was helpful in dealing with other vendors as well, and did everything with a smile on her face. When I came to her days before my wedding with a crazy new surprise, she was down to help.
