“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christina Vargas and the incredible role she played in making my surprise 40th birthday celebration such a memorable event. While my husband was busy coordinating family and friends who traveled from near and far to celebrate with us, Christina stepped in and handled all of the final details, immediately putting his mind at ease and allowing him to actually enjoy the occasion. From coordinating the pickup of the catered food to setting up and breaking down the entire event space, Christina ensured everything ran seamlessly. Throughout the evening, she continuously checked on the room, tidied up, and kept everything organized so guests could focus on enjoying themselves rather than worrying about logistics. She also took charge of all the decorations and created a beautiful balloon and signage backdrop that became the perfect place for photos with family and friends. After we toured Olio and met Sarah, booking with her team at Without A Hitch was a no brainer and truly worth every penny. Our coordinator, Allison, supported us all along the way; no question was too big or too small. We leaned on many of her recommendations for vendors, including some of our very favorite wedding components like the arcade games we set up for guests and our awesome DJ. As we got closer to the event, it became clear just how great our choice was to work with Allison and Without a Hitch, they kept us (and our many, many vendors!) organized and I felt confident our day would go to plan. “I can’t say enough good things about Ayden! I hired her later in the planning process, and my only regret is not hiring her sooner. She truly kept me sane on my wedding day. From quickly bustling my dress so I could get back to the party, to even helping my dad fix the hem of his pants—she went above and beyond in every way. My venue went through three different coordinators in the span of a year (something I never thought would happen, especially at such a nice hotel in Maine). The communication was a nightmare, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Ayden. She was relentless in trying to get in contact with someone when I simply didn’t have the time—I work a full-time, demanding job—and I didn’t even hear from the venue until about three weeks before my wedding. We still had timeline issues that needed immediate attention, and Ayden took charge. She finally got me in touch with the general manager, and things smoothed out from there. By the time the wedding arrived, I was so burnt out that I gave Ayden very little direction on how to set up some of my decorative pieces—and she absolutely nailed it. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding.
